Nobody alive today remembers what it was like before the humans invaded Equestria. The only thing we have to go on is the history books. The oldest books say that Equestria was a land of peace and harmony, ruled over by the ponies themselves. More recent ones (like the ones you would find on microfilm) speak of a great calamity that happened roughly two hundred years ago. The calamity, the films explain, involved dark portals opening all over the world and strange bipedal creatures stepping through. The last books written by the ponies explain that they initially tried communicating with the bipeds, but they would not listen. The bipeds simply did not listen to reason. They spread far and wide, taking whatever they wanted from the general populace. Many of the non-pony species were completely wiped out, or are in hiding. The ponies themselves were completely subjugated in a short time. After the first hundred years, the bipeds, called “Humans”, invented portable devices designed for imprisoning and transporting wild ponies; they dubbed these devices Ponyballs. Before long, practically every human had a pony of their very own under their control. They used these ponies for sport, play, and even companionship and research. Before long, a name was given to the Humans who specifically kept ponies under their control: Bronies. For this RP, you would be playing Bronies just starting, or in the middle of, your Ponymon quest (whatever it may be). For the time being, I’d like to limit everyone to one Pony. Things to consider: 1) While you technically can’t have any of the Mane 6 on your team (keep in mind, this RP would take place 200 years After The End) you can have expies or ponies who are remarkably similar to main character or background ponies. 2) I haven’t decided if the ponies can talk yet. (Or, if they can, if the Bronies can understand them) 3) This is still Equestria. The names of places have not (inexplicably) changed. 4) Yes, this is based off of the Ponymon romhack. Hario has a tough time controlling it sometimes, but usually when he summons her for battle, she understands it's "go time!" Maybe I got that mixed up... confused.
