I've been thinking much about this lately. I am not a religious person by any means, but I do have my theories. I've recently created 2 blog posts you may want to check out; the 1st one being a giant analogy. Does anyone have any similar theories or contradicting theories? I'd love to hear them. ^^

A lot of the things you post sound way too similar to the things I say to myself in the shower.
Ahhh the shower, a lovely little place of wonderment where even people like me can sound complex.

On the topic of dreams vs reality, I've had several where I really need to ask myself whether or not this actually happened. Dreams could be seen as a 'personal' reality, especially in the case of recurring dreams, or even just by having similar themes, in which you are an all powerful deity. Personally within my dreams I cannot remain dead, I can fly, and heal myself and others. I think the main difference between "dreams" and "reality" is the range of your control. In reality, the average person is capable of controlling their thoughts and actions, but not so much their surroundings or the laws of physics. On the other hand, in a dream you may have a vast range of control, from total in a lucid dream, to none at all in a nightmare. Strictly speaking a memory is just a series of connections between brain cells. The fact that one could talk about a dream makes it a memory. Just because no one else experienced it doesn't make it any less important.

Dreams, in a scientific sense, are the brain's way to test and reinforce reality, that's one of the many points of having dreams.

During simple dreams, you essentially go through your day as your brain reinforces habits you create for yourself, or maintains habits you've already had established. Dreams like this are typically very boring; something like walking down a hallway, or driving your car to work. Again, it reinforces the things you already know.

During REM sleep, it's your brain's way of experimenting with the reality you already know. This is just in the form of whatever the hell you or it wants it to be. Some nights your dreams will be completely incomprehensible mind-slush, while on other nights your subconscious will go, "I wonder what the world would be like if this guy could run at the speed of sound."

Hm. Same with me. Shower is best thinking place. o3o
Last night I was spending a little too long in the shower going over my thoughts; so much so that dad tried to break the door down... =.= I've never seen a door bend before. That lead me to go to bed early, stay up until 12, and then have very realistic dreams. You probably read my comments and blog post, right? Well I slipped back into that beach scene last night and have accepted it as my reality.

Tsk tsk tsk... Ben, you should have broken her spine instead. :/

On a human level, I must agree (in a less serious tone) that pony= life. :p
