ADMIT IT. Did you hate the show the first time you saw it? Or did you fall in love with it? We've all been there before. When I first saw the 'My Little Pony' series back in 2004, I literally hated the show. I kept ranting that it was poisonous to a person's mind, and that anyone who watched it would get the 'poison' from it. God, I was ridiculous back then... even though I was like... 8 years old? But now, I'm watching both the Butterfly Island episode and the Friendship is Magic series, and I'm lovin' both. :3 Anyway, post what your reaction was.
My reaction was "Please God, make the cuteness stop." I was an instant brony, when I at first hated the idea of watching the show.
i always heard about the show and how grown up people watched, and im the kind of person that cant say anything bad about somting befor now how it is. i gone to watch the first episode and turned of on the intro thinking: its ridiculous, im not gona watch this ¬¬ three days later i saw about bronies al over youtube and decided to watch at least a full episode. on the ending of the first episode: meh, lets see the second one to be sure... on the ending of episode 2: its not that bad. after episode 3: its awessome! then i warched the whole season in two days. and now im here, a full proclaimed Brony XD
I first heard of it through internet memes. I HATE memes with a burning passion and began to troll bronies in any way I could, even without watching the show. I eventually did and felt awful for trolling bronies before, I hope I am making up for my past actions through all of my help threads, but I still regret trolling bronies, they're so nice.
No thank you, I'm still trying to redeem myself through helping bronies to make up for the ones I knew I made cry.
I decided to watch it after a guy I was subscribe to read the Cupcakes fanfic on camera, I only watched it because I knew if he was reading a fanfic it had to be something entertaining horrible. Then he proclaimed himself a brony and that he enjoys the show, wtf? I thought. The next time I was really bored I decided to check it out. I got some booze cause I thought if it did suck the booze might make it seem more fun to watch. I almost gagged when I saw the intro then as soon as the episode started my preconceptions were quickly crushed one by one. The first time I watched it was at break at work. I thought this can't be the same show,this sucks. The next day,i watched episode 2 and thought the same thing. when I first started to watch MLP:FiM, I thought: "ok it is good cartoon", and I thought it'd be just one of many cartoons I watch. soon I liked it more and more.
I heard about how a kid's show was causing such a commotion and I read discussions on it from another forum. I gave in and even before playing the video on youtube my first thought was: "Oh god, I'm going to like this, aren't I? I should just walk away right now-" *click*
Hm, it's rather odd to explain. You see, when I went to watch the first episode, it was though I wanted to become a brony. So, naturally, I loved it.
Well! I played the computer game a generation or so back. I recall the green apples made the ponies ill. But it was a unique thingy! I wonder if they'll ever bring it back...
I'd seen all of the pony pictures with quotes for month and they were hilarious. Finally, I decided to watch the show over the course of several nights. Nightmare Moon is one sexy pony as far as ponies go.

At first, I was skeptical about the show. But then I saw the non-girly design and gave it a try. First episode, best 20 minutes of my life. Then I went to Ep2, because I was curious what happens. And then to the next episode, and the next and the next... Then that's how I became a brony.
Back in November when i discovered this show, I Didn't suspect much from the My Little Pony series, since they don't normal last more then a season or 2 and just something i normally wouldn't watch but i think i had weakness to watch it, that day. First Episode was good for a kids show but the cliff hanger kept my curiosity, wanting to know what will happen. So i watched Part 2 of the First Episode. I was Blown away after that. I was in aw for how this couldn't be the same MLP like all the others. As i watched all the episodes all the way up till may when the first season, ended. I had to say that For a show that was for young girls. I can honestly say that this is qualified to put up on CN and can be enjoyed by any age and gender. :3

I saw all those pony pics with quotes in em and got a good laugh out of them. Then one school night i was bored so i was like "I wanna see what the commotion is all about" so I watched the first episode, nearly had a spittake when the opening theme started for the first time cause i found it to be funny (wasnt a fan back then of the pony franchise) then after ep 1, i wanted to see more, then came ep2, then 3, then BLAAM! i'ma Brony xD
