Well, I was bored, and conducted a little experiment on Deviantart. I don't know if the pics that show up on the home page are completely random, or only new ones, or if they look at your favorites and tailor it to that. But here are the results. The average number of deviations related to MLP per refresh of the homepage was... Spoiler: Ooh, look here 0.95 So theoretically, 95% of the time, I will get one pony-related pic on the homepage of Deviantart. I'd say that counts as one small step towards internet-wide domination.
Another small step to Internet dominance was when a pony video appeared on MSN for some time. Then Reddit had an MLP banner for a day. One site at a time, one site at a time...

I think it's because a lot of the Deviants are more open minded, so they gave the show a chance. And like Lays, you can't have just one. I think it helps that the ponies are helluva lot easier to draw...
Okay just wanna say, I like ponies, but I don't want to see ponies everywhere. I almost always see ponies show up in searches that are no where close to MLP.

I love ponies. A lot of people don't. THAT IS WHY WE ARE TREATED AS A PLAGUE. The reason why (some) people think bronies are a plague upon the internet is that we're places where we shouldn't be. I had to lock a thread on a Call Of Duty forum JUST because it pertained to ponies, and I got fired from the moderation team for that, because it pissed a LOT of people off. I told them that I was a brony, but I don't want my guns and my planes with my pegasi and my princesses. They didn't understand this SIMPLE concept. They just shouted free speech over and over, but guess what? Free speech on the internet doesn't exist. You want to talk about ponies, go on a pony board. You want to talk about COD, go to a COD board. You want to talk about how you like to play footsies with you Grandma...just, go away... Do you know what I am saying? I must disagree, good sir. As long as the Bronies are not trolling the non-bronies with pics pf ponies, they can co-exist peacefully. I actually was introduced to ponies on a non-pony forum by the local brony crowd.
