You don't know the half of it, my son. I am partially to blame for that. Well, mostly, actually. I want things to be examined instead of blindly done. But things like banning and common sense should be a no-brainer. If they're being a clear problem, I miss the days where we can just ban them outright. I'm trying to push to make you guys more notified of staff decisions and all that. Doesn't make me all that popular in the staff, though.

Read 'Pushing for'. That doesn't mean it's being done. Yeah, we tend to over-analyze a lot of stuff. But personally, I'd rather over-analyze than not analyze at all.
Think of it like rendering a CG animation. You can either turn all the fancy graphics on max.And wait days for it to render and hope it doesnt have an error. You can have it on low and have it render really fast but look horrible. OR you can set it to just right and have it render moderately fast while still looking decent.
It's not as simple as that. You have to find a steady middle ground, and in this case, that isn't easy to do. Yup, pretty much this.
Perhaps you should consult the members. Instead of telling them what you're doing with little explanation.
That's exactly what I'm trying to do. A majority of the staff don't really want to do so because they don't want potential backlash.
I think I'm the only one on the entire staff that's mid ground with just about everything though there are a few things that I lean towards.
You're basically what all the mods should strive to be. Tyro is like that as well. You two seem to be the most level-headed out of all the staff for sure. I think we should all take a cue from you. We're all naughty boys and girls. <3
I think that if Foxy didn't enjoy the position, then it is a good thing he stepped down. I don't think he should feel obligated to do it if it makes him feel that way. And about staff members stepping down lately: Well. Some of us normal ponies aren't exactly making life any easier for them, and that combined with the already stressful problems coming from within staff, I can't say I blame them. -sigh- That is all. Anyhow, I am good, if a just a bit stressed right now because my parents are ragging on me even MORE that usual. So if I come across as tense, that's why. Sorry.
I'm going to stop you right here and address something. Not one of you is lower than the mods or administrators. Not a single one of you are expendable/useless/detrimental. As a moderator, my job is to ensure the safety and security of the site, and most importantly, you guys. You guys make the forum, and are much more important than any other thing here. You guys make the forum worth going to, because you're the backbone of it all. Without great people like you, Legion, none of us would have the drive to keep trying to improve the site. We all want what's best, and I'm doing my damned best to make sure you all get what you need and want out of this place: A place to talk and hang out with your friends. Any moderator who says they are above you is a terrible moderator. We're no better than you guys except for a fancy title. We're here to serve you. We're not here to make you guys feel bad. If you have any problems with a staff member or something on the site, you can always contact me or the administrators. I assure you that something will be done.
