This, so far in A-level physics, I've basically used maths in just about every lesson so far. If we don't use some form of formula, we use Pythagoras' theorem or trigonometry.

That's because you don't do things. Throwing things? Uses physics to aim, even if you don't know it. Programming games? All of the physics. Knowing how stuff works so you don't look like an imbecile? Yep.
