I like babies when their parents raise them properly and change their nappies regularly. Nobody likes a brat. Especially not a smelly brat.
Thank you all. So much. Don't know how I'd get along without all of you. Well, that's what I'm like. It's just that lately, I have had about 0 hours a night to do anything. It's been that way all week actually. And it's getting to me, because usually I can get my work done, but now I find myself having literally 1 hour to do 3 hours' worth of homework, and it's at 10:00 at night and after I just worked 4 hours and had a choir concert, or volunteer projects or somesuch other thing. And because I am so hard on myself, I blame myself for this. I don't know if it is my fault, since technically I COULD have done it. I just don't know what it would have done to me physiologically and physiologically. There's my rationalization of the problem. Unfortunately, I still don't see a solution. - - Auto Merge - - I like babies. I just don't like taking CARE of them. Congrats though, CC!
Congratulazuns! Good luck to your Mum and everyone else! - - Auto Merge - - Try not to worry too much. As long as you manage to get your work done, it isn't so bad. Just remember, the moment you let go of the gas, you'll start rolling down the hill. I'm sure that you'll start to get the hang of everything soon.
Careful there Legion! It is amazing that you are working hard and doing your utmost to get tasks completed and to attend to your responsibilities, but in Japan they have a term; 'KarÅshi' which basically translates to 'working yourself to death' In this case, you are working so hard to the point where it is affecting your moods and motivation. If I may suggest talking to your teachers, tutors and parents about establishing some time for yourself, perhaps extending deadlines or having someone cover a work shift for you to catch up on work and relax afterwards. Anything like postponing volunteer work or perhaps reconsidering your obligations. You may feel that volunteering or working is more important than a certain activity, so you could always negotiate with people to change your routine. If you can't do that, it is evident that you are very strong and capable individual. When I was working whilst studying at college, I was studying for my final exams and the pressure was unbelievable. I broke down at work and I had to quit in order to focus on my education. I've heard stories of people working 25 hours a week whilst in full time education and it made me feel weak. So if it is any consolation my dear friend, you have proven to be much stronger than me. I barely had any time to indulge in my art at home and ended up doing it in college. You have multiple responsibilities and all you're feeling is exhaustion, fatigue and stress. That will eventually pass and you will be back to a more positive outlook in no time! You certainly are quite the worker! If I were you, at the next oppertunity for relaxation I would have some good 'YOU' time, doing what you love to relieve the stress a little. And of course you have our utmost support. Good luck my friend! I'm sure you'll do wonderfully!
Yami, I would be dissapoint, but I would be lying if I said that I hadn't done that once or twice before. - - Auto Merge - - This is why I must teach you to understand the power that's inside a baby.
Not too certain. I think that they had some child sages somewhere. Although I tend to believe the monotheistic side of it, since that has a lot less symbolism and it kind of makes more sense. EDIT: Actually, many people tend to worship the child form of Krishna a lot.
Your parents are over working you. Just quit some of the volunteer stuff. Im 14. And my mom says im old enough to make my own decisions. You're 16.YOU should decide what you want to do.
If Autosaving didn't exist I'd be smashing my head through the table right now Also, Legion, I've been through what you;re going through, the best solution for us that I've found is prayer and scripture meditation. Also when it is all over, try not to do extra work like you have here, otherwise you'll just be overworked again. If all else fails, tell your teachers that are running the volunteer work that you have just too much work to do right now and then step down, although that I know is a tough thing to do. *hugs* you'll get through this, I promise
Actually, I agree with Sinderlocke too. Give it a couple more weeks. If it is still too much, consider dropping one of your responsibilties so you can focus more on things. Whilst you're young, education is the most important thing you can do. So that should have priority over everything else. You should model your schedule around your school life. After all, if you do exceptional in school, you can easily make up for those extra bucks you missed out on during your teen years. But give it a couple of weeks. With Twilight-standard organisation, anything can be possible.
Raise her as your apprentice. Teach her the true meaning of the Dark side of the Force.....congrats btw!
What? It was the most efficient use of my time. I had plenty of time to enjoy myself at home and didn't get stressed because of work. Congrats CC! Make the poni strong with that one.
I know what you mean. If I finish my work early, I spend the extra time getting ahead in other subjects. I'd try not to leave my homework to the last minute, but if I (for whatever reason) didn't end up doing it I would find other time to do it.
It won't be too bad. When raised properly, children are okay. However, when not raised properly, that's when you'll get problems.
