Well I sent you a private message, mostly a repeat in case you didn't get to see my post. But any volunteer work that you do maybe you should stop, anything that can be taken off your shoulders is better than nothing

Maybe it is my problem. You see...

When it comes to my situation (ie, low amount of sleep, no breakfast, etc), I always think "it could be worse" or "other people have it worse".

When it comes to standards (like education, volunteering, work, etc), I always think "it could be better" or "other people have done better".

I always thought that was a good way to think, but now I'm having second thoughts...

The thought "I can handle it beacause other people already did much better" is so wrong! Man there are also people who do better yes, and there are people who do worse. Every human is different, some can handle more stress, some less. I for example could not handle as much stress as you have at the moment.
And remember, your health is one of the mmost important things you have, that means take your time to eat and sleep. So much stress takes up your energy and what restores energy? Yes sleep and eat. If you loose much energy because of the stress and dont.. wel... put some energy back in you will feel worse and worse.

I can understand that you cant quit your job, but at least try to secure your health. =/

Ew. Kill that song with unholy fire. The original was much better. *Harbors a scathing hatred for the Tombstone Discord remix*

You could do what I did a lot of the time: complete the homework during the classes before the class the homework's due in.

Well I used to be able to do that, like last year.

Now my teacher in pretty much any of my classes will at least say "please put that away and pay attention" or as worst do what my Spanish Teacher already did, which is send you to the "Student Responsibility Center", the most misused idea ever.

It was originally intended for rule-breakers and class-interrupters, but now kids just get sent there if they "aren't participating". Which is stupid, because how will you participate any better if you're NOT IN CLASS?!

    But yeah.

On a note which does not involve happiness or jobs or God or that sort of malarky, I love exams and it's parents' evening tonight.

While the original was awesome, does Tombstone's version really deserve that?

As for exams, I like exams. Much better than coursework.

Sorry guys. I know I've been being really negative lately, and it's not fair of me to monopolize the general chat thread just for talking about my problems. I'll try to be less negative in the future...

Lol, i've got to get three thumbnail sketches, a page on how rhythm has been used by an artist, a description on how sexual orientation is represented through a five minute media clip from a drama, and revise for a test for tomorrow.

    Feels good. XD

Stayed up until 4 a.m. writing a paper, slept in and missed a class.

    Am I doing college right?

In other news, I still have work to do.

To me, yes. It's just a shining example of what I can't stand about the music industry. Tombstone too a carefully-planned out song that spans several genres and somehow works together in chaotic harmony, sped up the vocals, added an extremely simplistic beat with an 8-bit melody that doesn't fit the song, and bam. Instantly 10x more loved and popular than the carefully-composed original. :sigh:

    Psh.

    Psh.

    You silly.

I've always been a person to appreciate the music itself, not how it's made. While I agree that Tombstone's version required a lot less effort to produce, I wouldn't say that it's a disgrace to music. It was a remix after all, so there was only a certain amount he could do to make it his own.

Although I do agree that the original deserves a lot more views.
