Sup, Everypony

I'm new to the site, been for about a couple of days now, and wanted to get to know everypony. So, what's up?

So, I guess I'll start with how I became a brony. Bare with me, it's a pretty long story.

Well how I became a Brony isn't that much of a tale but here I go. I heard/saw the show about a year ago. I was flipping through channels when something caught my eye, the words "my little pony". So I'm like "What? Is this on Nick or something?" I looked and saw "Hub" and it was fairly new, so I never heard of it. I turned to the station and it was already halfway through the show, I watched about 5 minutes of it and then I changed the channel. I didn't really think anything of it, at the time.

So about a year has past and during that time I never thought about the show. The hit video "gangnam style" had been out for about two months, which I was unaware of. So, I was at a friends house and he showed me the video and I liked it. And like any other videos, I wanted to see if there were any parodies, so I could get a good laugh in. I saw a video called "pony gangnam style" and so I clicked on it. It was the most funniest/cutest thing I have ever seen on Youtube. I watched it over and over and over again. So, a few days later, in the related videos section, I saw a video named " MLP Royal Wedding part 2" So, I watched it and I was speechless. I had no idea who princess celestia was at the time but when she couldn't fight off the queen of the changelings and her crown fell off, my jaw dropped. So, I watched the rest of the video and then I was so intrigued, so i watched part 1 and liked it.

At the time, I was like "Am I really enjoying a show about ponies?" So I looked up the show and while looking through stuff, I noticed the word "Brony" everywhere. I read into it and realized that I wasn't alone on this. But I was still kind of embarrassed and was a closet brony, but just for a little bit, till friends at school told me they were bronies and they liked the show alot. So, after a while (and watching every single episode), I broke out of my shell and I didn't care if the whole world knew I was a brony.(this was about 2 almost 3 months ago). I'm not ashamed to be a brony either.

So I can proudly say I've been a brony for almost 3 months and let me tell you, it's awesome. I have Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash brony tags that I wear on a daily basis. There's even an after school club called "the brony club" dedicated to people who watch, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I'm also a big fan of the fan-art and fiction people draw and write about.

Now for everyponies info:

My top 3 favorite ponies are Applejack, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. I don't have a single favorite pony because I like them all so much. It's pretty much a tie between apple and shy, I can't seem to pick one.

My OP name is Silver shadow. (duh)
I chose that name because my favorite color is silver and I always found shadows to be dark and mysterious and cool, haha.

My favorite episode would have to be the royal wedding. I have a bunch of other favorite episodes but this one takes the cake (no pinkie, please don't eat my cake)

Well, I know that was pretty long but might as well get it out now. So, if there's anything else anypony wants to know, just ask. I'm happy to be here.

 

Yes, everyone should be an Applejack fan, the way I see it. She's an awesome/sweet/caring/tough/strong pony.
