((Ok, so I just had this neat idea for a rp. well it's kind of a roleplay so i'm putting it here. Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place. Welcome to Ponyville Text-Based Adventure Game, here I will describe to you a setting and you then control the actions of the character. The character is essentially a blank slate and will be built as we go along. There are some simple guidelines to this. •Keep it simple. While I will try to respond to every post, please keep it simple, I'm not that good at this kind of thing. Posts with multiple commands in them will either be ignored or mocked (Not that I'm going to mock the poster for making multiple commands, it's more like I'm going to make a silly post that has nothing to do with the commands given) •Be clear. As I said, I'm going to try to respond to every post. This means that if a command is not clear, then I will go with either a humourous approach or a confused approach. I most likely won't ask for clarification. •You can post even when someone else has posted. I'm going to respond to each action in the order it's given. • rules clarify an action (say)/ (examine)/ (search)/ (eat) then what the action applies to, "hello"/ the sign/ the hollow tree trunk/ the pie • sorry if this hard to understand let me know if I need to explain anything better. I will post an example so hopefully that helps. My general format will be > Action Description of action > (Left blank, just like to let you know to continue.) so for example: Poster 1, >steal Twilight's book Me, > steal Twilight's book Twilight catches you. The scowl on her face makes it obvious she is not at all pleased with your actions. She asks what do you think you are doing. > Poster 2, >say "I am sorry" Me, >"I am sorry" She sighs, then asks politley for you just to leave before you cause any more trouble. >
I had this Idea a while back, it was a neat idea in my opinion. I just tought I would bump it to see if there is any interest for it now now that the roleplay section seems more active then back in the day.
I'm a noob when it comes to RPing, maybe starting in a RP like this one could be cool, I particularly like this idea of developing as it goes along.

This reminds me a lot of Moonstuck which is probably why it piqued my interest... Also I suck at RP'ing since I've never done it before
I do read quite a lot of books... Not as much as I used to, though. Nyeh, Sparky better get this goin' soon, I'm itchin' for a laugh with this!
