Twilight Sparkle - Owlicious Applejack - Winona Rarity - Opalescence Fluttershy - Angel Pinkie Pie - Gummy Rainbow Dash - ??? Do you hope the writers give Rainbow Dash a pet before the end of the series (whenevr that may be)? Or does Rainbow Dash seem like the type to not have time for a pet? Because of how athletic and active she is, it seems like a pet for her would be out of the question. It would be neat to see what kind of pet Rainbow Dash could get. Definitely something that flies, of course! I frankly really don't care if they do/don't give her a pet. Just curious as to what everypony else thinks regarding this. TL;DR: Should/Shouldn't RD get a pet?
Skydancer1993: If you want me to be honest, I think the reason of why Dash had no siblings (especially younger ones) and also no pets is the same reason of why I cannot portrait her in any pairing: Faust herself stated that she's not the kind of girl to have a younger sister, mainly because she's the most selfish and immature of the main cast (and thus probably the youngest). She lacks patience and is too much of a slacker even with the few friends she has. If she had a bunny which needs constant caring, it'd probably run away or die of hunger. BUT, if she ever gets a pet, I'm hoping it to be a turtle. It'd be rather ironic that Dash, who's all about speed and sports, has a boring pet like a turtle or a fish xD My favorite pet so far is Opalescence, Owloiscious being a close second. But this probably because I have a weak spot for cats - I have a cat.
Well at least a turtle would be something hardy that could stand a little neglect Though I'm not sure how she'd get one into her cloud house
I think of Rainbow having a bird. Maybe a falcon like Baron Awesome in Fair Feathered Friends (a fanfic)
Well, she most definitely is not the youngest. It's either Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash that is the oldest, actually - as seen in that filly episode of them. Anyways, I think Rainbow Dash is the best as she is - no animal companion. I was kinda surprised, everypony seemed to have some kind of companion, which is... normally not the case when it comes to the main cast. Well, Celestia has Philomena, which is by far my favorite pet in the whole season, though if someone asked me what my favorite animal in the MLP universe is, I'd say that Ursa Majors are.
While I agree about this in every single word (and because I don't know either about getting a turtle in that house), it'd be still funny for her to have a pet xD And I still think Dash's the youngest in the mane cast. I doubt Pinkie is the youngest because I believe she's the eldest yearling in her family, and though about partying and such, she seems comprehensive like an older sister. An older sibling doesn't have to be always serious. My sister is an example. As for the oldest, I believe Fluttershy is. In my concept, is a tie between her and Applejack. YOU SICK! LOL!

My vote for favorite pet has to be Gummy too. I mean, he wears a tux and a top hat! And no other pet has had a party (almost two) specifically to celebrate them.
Anyone else expecting some kind of episode featuring the pets? I mean, it seems kind of suspicious of almost all of them each having one...
