I'm not very good at introductions, so I'll cut to the chase. I like My Little Pony because it proves my manliness, when I finally get around to drawing my avatar, it will be a male carrying a large CRT computer on his back and and his cutie mark will be an 8x8 square of bits (Ones and Zeroes). I haven't decided what his colors and build will be yet.

Between here and my Deviant Art account, will be my news base for my upcoming MLP project, which try as I might, I hope will be done before the season 2 premier.

And because it catches my attention, I'm going to use the following smiley for no actual reason.
    :omg:
    That smiley is awesome.

Trot *let me call you like that*, I think, after seeing the sprites... that we'll be good friends. Did you draw them?

Yes I did draw them, but I spent more time on them than I'm will to admit lol. The pony chan thread shows more WIP stages. Oh horse apples, linking that ruins the surprise doesn't it? I ended up having to trace frames of the actual show for the legs. I can draw hands better than I can draw pony legs, is that weird?
    :dunno:

So yes, I'm making MLP:RPG, My Little Pony: Role Pony Game. That's just the code name, I have a real title picked out so need to pitch any to me. I still need to complete the template, then I'll need to make a filly template, a bulky colt template.

These sprites were made in Flash 8 (Same software version used to make the actully show), using a zero point three line width. I hope to arrange the template in such a matter that I can just post the flv so that anyone can use it. The bigest problem I have right now is the eyes, but I'm sure I'll work something out.

Hmm, well, if you need help, don't hesitate to ask; I know a thing or two about spriting.

Thank you Derpy Hooves. I'll be sure to take you up on that offer. But one of the amazing things about the MLP community is the musicians. For the longest time I've been meaning to make a post about what tracks are needed for the project. And I keep putting it off because almost every day I check Equestria Daily, that list gets shorter and shorter. At first I was worried that most of the music would be provided by Euro Beat Brony, now I worried that now that I'm only going to use one of his tracks. The Music folder I have has over 50 tracks in it.

Off the top of my head I'm only missing less than dozen tracks, namely generic area themes, themes for OC (heros and villains), and I want 3 different tracks for the 3 final bosses. But I'll make either a thread or DA journal covering that more extensively. My biggest concern with music right now is the looping. You see, the software I'm using supports looping, but I have to input the loops in samples, with audio's equivalent to Video's sub pixel. For example, when I made looped version of Not a Clever Pony's "For the New Lunar Republic", the loops starts at sample 1,433,872 and has a length of 5,201,206 samples. I have Audacity which makes it easy though.

I'm sure I'm going to need your help as well. Again, I've spent more time on that template then I care to admit.
    :ahh:

    EDIT:
I just submitted something to DA so it won't be a blank page.
