Twilight... An... An... Wha? (Possible spoilers are possible...) So, I was just browsin' when I came across this. Spoiler: ... So, Twilight has... Has... Wings... So. Twilight's clearly... erm... Yeah. And then, I found out that some twilight plushies have wings too. So this test that was spoken of in the show. Could it possibly be a test to see if Twilight's ready to become... An alicorn!? If Twilight becomes an Alicorn, I'll have the most tantrumest tantrum known to tantrums.
There's G3 ponies in the background, clearly the people running that shindig hadn't done much research into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, plus it doesn't look like the place is kitted out just for ponies, and probably more of Hasbro on the whole, so could be just a marketing error. Or they could be trollin'. I'm more worried about what those people are holding.
Maybe it is normal for an allicorn to grow wings when they are adults? I mean has anyone seen a babyallicorn recently? Every allicorn was older than twilight. Or its a wrong designed advertisement. or Trolling
I just don't know what to believe anymore. I'm kind of hoping that the poster was just a big mistake.
I don't know how to react. If they are going to pull it of though I hope they do it well. While I am not against an alicorn Sparkle I don't see what is wrong with letting her remain a unicorn. However this could turn out to be an awesome plot point, just imagine Twilight taking flight lessons from Rainbow Dash.
Or it might even be the plot to an episode, where it all goes terribly wrong or something like that, that is, of course, this is ACTUALLY a hint to the future. More than likely this is a marketing mistake.
You know what? I want to see this happen. Just for one or two episodes, Twilight takes Celestia's place while she's out... dunno, saving the crystal ponies? Could be a "walk in another's shoes" kinda thing.

Sort of really excited, sort of super scared. I mean, how can they top Twilight becoming an Alicorn, where does it go from there? I understand that the show didn't really have a particular direction it was going for at the beginning (Sure, it had the gala, Nightmare moon, Discord, but no over arcing plot throughout the whole season) so perhaps this is the start of one. Perhaps this is somehow related to the announcement that Spoiler: Trollface.jpg Discord will be returning in season 3 (At least there's lots of stuff to support it) Either way, I'm actually really excited about this...Now just hurry up and arrive Season 3
I find it unlikely it'd be an accident. I mean, they usually just take some stock pictures of the characters and use them, so the wings would first have to be accidentally edited into it, or they'd have to have a picture of Twilight as an alicorn just randomly lying around and accidentally choose it, then they would accidentally have add wings to the plushies of Twilight, which would be a pretty coincidental accident. Then, by accident, Hasbro would have to accidentally allow it to go through. If Twilight's an accidental Alicorn, this is a gigantic screw up- I mean, I' not saying they've never made mistakes but never to this scale. I find it more likely that something to do with Twilight and Alicorn-ness will happen this season. And I dunno whether to be happy about that, to be honest... :S
