Yes, I realise I made a thread like this before. However, I felt I needed to express a few points. The main one is a statistic: 85% of people here are not contributing to the wellbeing of this forum. If you are in that group, you are either: A. Overzealous, whether that be as a brony or anything else. B. Partially related to the previous point, ignorant. C. Arrogant. When I say that, I mean the "I told you so"/"I am best" people. The other 15% include users that were far better when they weren't mods (that's Rarit E, Yami and Ramza. You were all decent folk when your name wasn't a different colour), half-decent folk and fully decent folk. I won't specify who is half or fully decent for fear of persecution. As you all may know, this place was FAR better when Grey, TWIF, Derpy and Jaret were in charge. I will keep checking in to see if Zeph and Co. are returning it to its original state. For now, bye.

I'm not a fan of it when people say 'oh you were better before you were a mod'. When someone becomes a mod, it means that they put a certain level of playfulness and immaturity behind them in order to better do their jobs. Its impossible to be staff and remain completely unchanged (unless you're not doing your job well.) Also, change happens. If someone isn't willing to accept change, they're going to get left behind. It's best to roll with the punches and move on looking towards the future rather than the past.
Totally agree, it pains me a little when I see "things were better last year" because it makes me personally feel I missed out, but even worse it shows that people now don't bother looking to the present or future for progress because they're stuck in the past.
Comparing the past and present gets you a rough indication of the future. But just in case my predictions are incorrect, I will keep an eye on this place.
