I've always dedicated my gaming time to appreciating lesser-known and underappreciated games. Some might call that being hipster, but these games are lovely to me.
I... agree with Sparky? But, actually yeah, you play games to have fun. Are you having fun playing? Yes? Keep playing. If it is not fun, then ask yourself, "Why am I playing it then?" And lastly, old school avatars are the best.
Don't get me wrong, I do play some "popular" games. I just don't like game where multiplayer deathmatches are the primary focus, like most shooters today. Popular games I do like: Final Fantasy Rock Band Mass Effect Borderlands Fallout Sonic Mario Zelda Metroid Probably others.
That doesn't make it a BAD game. It makes it an overused overplayed overproduced game. But it's not a bad game.
If it wasn't for my nature of wanting to find and appreciate things that don't have the spotlight, I probably wouldn't have become a brony. :3
COD isn't boring. People like LoP, colter, farva, and SUK make it funny. It's just overall bland to me. Same crap every few years. Then you add the fanboys and you have to reason I've stopped playing online games.
Tf2 is pretty fun if you get on the right server. Otherwise the idiots will ruin your fun and make it frustrating to play. Seriously. Me and a bunch of other people were fighting a boss and some retarded anus came in and killed everyone "Because he already killed the boss" SO?! OTHER PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO DO SO YOU *******!!
I guess I play games to go on a journey in another world. Multiplayer games usually break this illusion for me. Especially games with mic support. x_x I do like TF2, though I rarely play it. I usually play with bots when I do.
