Hello every brony! My last exam is tomorrow, if I survive it (which I plan to, sorry Oatmeal) I'll have (in theory) bags of time to work on improving the everypony experience and atmosphere. A few things are already on my 'to-do-when-I-can-be-bothered' list; Host a Competition or Quiz (with... prizes perhaps, ofc only trivial stuff like rep) Everypony Radio - If your not sure what that is catch Oatmeal in the chat, he'll be more than happy to fill you in. Finish (?) implementing the MP3 Preview players to the downloads section, assuming I am actually capable.. :derpe: Making some more themes, although a pony should note this is far from a priority. Update the rules Other random stuff I've forgotten about atm And finally, last but not least I'll hopefully have a chance to do anything you guys want - so ask away! (Please!) So yup, we'll hopefully have a busy summer, expand a little more (although I'm oh so pleased with our current registration rate) - Thank you to all those who've told their friends and acquaintances about this site, your doing it more good than I ever could with any amount of floozy features or updates. So fire away bronies, what's missing, what needs fixing or what do you want changed for absolutely no apparent reason whatsoever? I'll consider all requests and probably do none (just joking).

I'd like to involve as many people as possible - so quiz like stuff is all good - music and art are possibilities - art more so, were still a tad short on 'active' musicians (what we have 3 or 4?). I'd like to work on EPR someday, but a certain SOMEPONY (Not to name any- GREY!!!) hasn't invited me to the channel to be able to work on it. :derpe: Maybe add a background, a query, register it (If not done yet), add some videos, and other stuff. I agree on the competitions. We just need to set up a time and date. And, if possible, maybe you can auto choose the skin when the competition is on in chat, and on the forum. (Maybe Jaret's skin could be up when there's a competition that day, or is on now; which can still be changed just in case somepony doesn't care for it. )
Sorry about that. lol I meant the background in Everypony.com Like when there's a competition that day, the background will change. Like if there were to be a competition today, the background in the chat and forum would be "competition friendly" (YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!). They can still change it, but it's just there to remind them and for festivity purposes.
Well, like the hive (YAY), we'll have (maybe) multiple contests running at the same time, so i guess that's a NO NO. Anyways... well, that was my post.
My time has just been taken up 100% - We have a serious issue originally pointed out by Oatmeal. Somehow the default user registration options can't be set so users are joining with stupid permissions and settings like being unable to see avatars, receive vms/pms and the like. I've disabled registration and am trying my up most to sort this out ASAP! I might even have to roll something back. Let's hope not. Grey
Fixed, it was a nasty product conflict - Luckily it wasn't even in use - And when I think about it that product might even be for vb3x which would explain a lot... -.-' Anyway, it's fixed. I noticed the new RP forum just now, nice. I do have a question regarding the text games sub-forum: Is that for games like 'The Person Above You' and 'Corrupt a Wish' and stuff like that? And a suggestion: Since we now have a sub-forum specifically for roleplaying, wouldn't it be a good idea to have an area where users could post character bios? I've been to several forums in the past with RP'ing forums where they have the users keeping journals of their progress in [x] and so on. It'd also serve as a way for people to better flesh out their OCs within their own space as well as discuss them 1:1 with other members.
Text Game Forum - Just so Suggestion - Could you link me to an example? We have a fanfic forum and I know Bamboo makes clever use of Google Docs for writing up her bios
Afraid the only two forums I can think of off the top of my head with sub-forums like that require registration. It's no biggie.
Just a quick note that you guys need to fix your domain resolution. When you go to "http://everypony.com" or "http://www.everypony.com", the page redirects to "http://www.everypony.com/forums/home.php", which gives the generic vBulletin 404/restricted error if logged in. It should be corrected to "http://www.everypony.com/forums/forum.php".
