Like what kind of names do you think regular changelings they would have, if any? is Chrysalis a normal name or might it be a special royalty name? I was thinking they would have bug related names like chrysalis is like Thorax would be a name or larva
Yeah just like a swarm. I also dont think they have different names. They ould be just like Drone 1 and Drone 2 :derpe:
They could talk while being disguised. I see no reason why they wouldn't be able to talk in their natural state, too. As for names, I don't know. It really depends on how much individuality they have. Maybe only the more important changelings have/earn names.
but that was because they changed. I assume that they some how picked it up when then change. I stick by my theory until confirmed that they speak.

Considering they are insect pony things, if they had names, it'd be bug related (like Chrysalis, larva, Rebecca Black, etc.) Although they probably don't have names. It seems that the changeling army is just an army, rather than a group of individual beings.
I guess one of them is called Miguel, and i betcha there's another one called Sanchez. I c wut u did thar.
They have many names. They go by Trixie, Lyra, Berry Punch, Sparkler, Bon Bon, etc. Pay attention to the crowds.
They're insects, basically. I would think they'd have their own language. Something like, "Let's take over Canterlot" would be translated as "bzzkritchklxziglizackachnak". That's my headcanon, at least.
as far as I remember only chrysalis talked and she could do that in her regular form anyway yeah that makes a lot of sense from what I seen in the episode I was thinking that too Thor-axe the impailer <--- best changeling awesome....
i bet they are a hive mind, not individuals. though i bet some would be named Kuno, Valoh, occan, etc
I've always thought of them as individuals, and fully capable of intelligence and speech. I figured they were no different from the ponies, just with shape-shifting being their unique ability, like a unicorn's magic or a pegasus' flight. But then again, I'm kind of biased towards them. I love the changelings. They fascinate me.
