So are anyone else excited about the upcoming Friendship is Magic Comic? From what I see, some of these covers are clearly targeted towards bronies, I mean lots of Derpy and other intresting things such as Wondershy. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/10/list-of-variant-covers-with-pictures.html I wonder if some of these covers have anything to do with the storylines in the comic. Mostly about those giant spider covers, love how Fluttershy is the only one not afraid of them. I am definatly going to get the compileation book, I will not get it before May, but I will preorder it. I am very excited about the comic. Unfortunately, I had to pre-order it digitally through iTunes. Still, it's better than not getting it at all, I suppose.

I pre-ordered second wave boxset of Mane Six covers for the first issue and paid extra for a variant cover of the second issue.
So, I pre-ordered it from TFAW (Things From Another World), and I got an e-mail yesterday saying it'll be here in seven to fourteen business days. . . . . Seven to fourteen business days?!? *faint*
I can see it for free thanks to my sources on reddit, though I think it might be a little controversial if I posted it here so yea(ask, not here)
I didn't really care to wait, so I bought it digitally through the Android "Comics" app as well. Fantastic start to the comic. The art is superb, the Mane 6 are mostly in-character (although Applejack seems a tad too aggressive in the first issue), and the story is fun (think Invasion of the Body Snatchers).
