I started around Season 2 due to my best friend telling me about it.... And i must say it has definitely made me feel great, i love being a Brony ( im getting a Fluttershy tattoo on my forearm soon) and im not afraid to tell people, it makes me proud to be one. My favourite Brony has to be either My Best friend or Mic The Microphone....
April 1st, 2012 is when I first dedicated myself to watching the show. I was a "slight" fan of it before that because of My Little Brony and 4chan, but never bothered to really watch the show. April 1st when Netflix updated the show to their Instant Queue, in case you were wondering why it was THAT day. It's also why it's so easy to remember.
Can't remember the day, but it was a bit before last day of school in June Around the time many other people considered themselves bronies
It was around late summer or maybe a month after school started, year of 2012. I have no idea how I got to know about the show, YouTube introduced me to My Little Pony somehow though. Now Friendship is Magic is the thing I watch all the time! Sometimes I think I should have discovered the show sooner. I seriously don't know how I got sucked in. I didn't even know the show existed, nor did I know what a brony was. Now I'm the one that has to explain to my friends what a brony is. They don't even know the show is out or never gave it a chance.
March 2012, during Spring Break. I saw many Youtube poops and memes regarding the show, so I eventually decided to watch it and see what all the fuss was about. All episodes watched within a week. I'm comfortable with sharing my brony status on the internet but not so much in real life, since one of my friends hates MLP an there aren't any other bronies around.
I used to think the same thing. I wore a rainbow dash shirt and out they came. They are even easier to find if you hang out in any gaming groups.
It all started when I found this video a few months ago just searching around. Then I found lots of other videos and then I started watching the episodes on Youtube. Now I'm hooked.
2-3 weeks now I was talking to a brony I met online who manage to talk me into checking the show out and totally changed my opinion of it
Hmm, well, my friend linked me to an MLP episode at the start of January this year, because I was curious, so I started watching it and liked it. After that, I watched another one. And another one. And another one, and another one, and another one... Then I started browsing for fan-made stuff, like vids, drawings, etc, and...yeah, that's about it Also, cool vid, Brian.
I started watching MLP in November 2012. I saw that it was on netflix, and I've heard so much about it, so I decided to give it a shot. It made me smile, and reminded me of a better time in my life, so I started watching more. I watch about 3-4 episodes a week, although this week I think I've watched about 10. I only VERY recently starting communicating to other fans of the show, and only within the last 5 days have I purchased merchandise related to the show (mostly blind bags, but I have a brushable and a rarity shirt too). I have more emotional investment in this show than I thought I would.
I posted this on another forum on the 2nd March 2011, I ended up watching every episode from then on, so I guess I became a Brony somewhere between 28-02-2011 and 2-03-2011. And I still don't like the theme song much.
Just a bit before Season 2 started. My friend kept pestering me to watch it. Didn't expect to like it. Spent the rest of the night watching all of season 1.
I liked the show since seeing a picture of Dashie and Nyan-Cat doing the whole grab my arm / adventure thing. I thought it was cute and decided to explore, it was a few days after S2 ended that I started watching the videos.
I only became a brony last December and already I've watched every episode. I got into it via the Internet (Everyone was saying how good it is, so I tried it out), and it's really good.
Probably within a week before I joined this site. I saw a couple pony memes over on membase, and after enough of them I decided to look up what the heck a "brony" was. I was like, "lol wut?" So I gave it a try and watched a few eps. Been here ever since.
I need to figure out when my Brony b-day is. It's whatever day the anime-con "Tokyo In Tulsa" was on a Saturday. I think it was in June, tragically, it was the Saturday following the Aurora Movie Massacre, security was buffed up and no one cosplayed as the joker, usually you will see Joker cosplayers.
