    the trick is to get a pastry brush,and brush a thin layer of melted chocolate(buttons or chips in the microwave for blasts of 25 seconds,making sure to stir them round and add more as you go ,starting with a msall bit,then rampin up the dosage) on th mold,then lac in frezer for mins,do at least three times(not too thick!) place nutella in as filling,then brushing over a medium layer of chocolate for bottom,then freeze for 10 mins,thn 20 mins or so in fridge,depending on how hard it goes

    there you go,one chocolate recipe

    Really? I don't remember that in the video, but I did some calculations of my own and arrived at a different number:

    I applied some kinematics and free-fall. I, of course, had to make some assumptions. I first tried an incorrect approach because the answer was really unreasonable:

    Wrong approach:

    I tried the kinematic equation:

    d = v[SUB]i[/SUB]t + (1/2)at[SUP]2
    [/SUP]
    Where
    d is the distance, v[SUB]i[/SUB] is the initial velocity, a is the acceleration, and t is time.

    Based on the episode, Rarity fell for about 52 s.

    So here are the values:

    d = ?
    v[SUB]i[/SUB] = 0
    a = 9.8 m/s[SUP]2[/SUP] (acceleration due to gravity)
    t = 52 s.

    Plugging these values in I get

    d = (0)(52 s) + (1/2)(9.8 m/s[SUP]2[/SUP])(52 s)[SUP]2[/SUP] = 13,249.6 m.

    At first that seems possible for it to be that high, except there's one problem. Watch what happens when I try to find Rarity's final velocity:

    I use the equation: v[SUB]f[/SUB] = v[SUB]i[/SUB] + at.

    v[SUB]f[/SUB] = (0) + (9.8 m/s[SUP]2[/SUP])(52 s) = 509.6 m/s.

    See the problem? That is much too high! When an object is falling in our atmosphere, it encounters drag and reaches a terminal velocity at some point. I calculated Rarity's terminal velocity:

    Let's assume Rarity's mass is 113 kg. I know the guy in the Physics video used 275 kg to estimate Fluttershy as a filly by averaging a horse's and foal's weight or something, but I think he grossly overestimated because according to Newton's Second Law, filly Fluttershy would've weighed 2,695 N ≈ 605 lbs! That, I believe, is much too high! The 113 kg comes from a known average weight of 250 lbs (1,112 N) for a Shetland Pony, a small breed of pony.

    According to Newton's Second Law: F = ma...

    m = F/a = (1,112 N)/(9.8 m/s[SUP]2[/SUP]) = 113 kg.

    I'll find Rarity's terminal velocity using this formula:

    v[SUB]terminal[/SUB] = [2mg/ρAC[SUB]d[/SUB]][SUP]1/2[/SUP]

    Where the following are:

    v[SUB]terminal[/SUB] = terminal velocity = ?
    m = mass = 113 kg.
    g = gravitational acceleration = 9.8 m/s[SUP]2[/SUP]
    ρ = Density of air, which I'm going to assume is 1.25 kg/m[SUP]3[/SUP]
    A = Area of projection = which I'm assuming is a rectangle of 39" x 16" or 0.38 m[SUP]2[/SUP] (Just a guesstimate)
    C[SUB]d[/SUB] = Drag Coefficient = 1.15 (I used a value from a table for a short cylinder),

    So...
    v[SUB]terminal[/SUB] = {[2(113 kg)(9.8 m/s[SUP]2[/SUP])]/[(1.25 kg/m[SUP]3[/SUP])(0.38 m[SUP]2[/SUP])(1.15)]}[SUP]1/2[/SUP] = 63 m/s, which, I believe, is comparable to a free-falling skydiver.

    So, v[SUB]f[/SUB] ≠509.6 m/s, but instead 63 m/s.

    So, now I'll use the correct numbers in the following equation:

    d = ([v[SUB]f[/SUB] – v[SUB]i[/SUB]]/2)t

    d = ([63 m/s – 0]/2)(52 s) = 1,638 m.

    However, when I use the number he used for m[SUB]filly[/SUB] = 275 kg. I get v[SUB]terminal[/SUB] = 99 m/s, which seems a bit high, but then d = 2,574 m, which is close to what you said, Dwynter, but that's a problem because it overestimates the mass.

    Of course, this is assuming the Laws of Physics exist in Equestria, which they pretty much don't.

    Anyway,

    2,574 m ≈ 8,445 ft (With m = 275 kg)
    2,530 m ≈ 8,301 ft (What you said)
    1,638 m ≈ 5,374 ft (With m = 113 kg, a more reasonable number)

    As you can tell, they're all greater than 1 mile (5,280 ft) high. All sound reasonable to me as clouds can form at any height within the troposphere if the conditions are right. In fact, I checked the latest observation at my location and there is a layer of overcast at 1,700 ft. As for using magic to make it warmer, in Equestria, this can obviously work. In our world, that would prove fatal for Cloudsdale, assuming the dewpoint temperature is the same. If you raise the air temperature without adding moisture, the clouds will evaporate. Not to mention, in reality, you can't lay or walk on a cloud. A cloud is not a pillow, but made of a high concentration of condensed water vapor and dry air (yes, there's dry air in a cloud, it's actually mostly composed of dry air). If you've ever been in fog, you've been in a cloud, as fog is a cloud in contact with the surface.

    Anyway, enough of me futilely attempting to apply reality to a fantasy world, although it is fun to do. I can totally relate to the so-called "physics brony," because I would've probably done something similar given the opportunity.

    That went so far over my head it could've been a comet. Still, that's what you are good at so I'd probably get the same reaction if I go on about some animal's skeletal structure or societal behavior...

    ^ lol! Problem, Applejack? :Trollestia:

    OK, I'll stop being off-topic before an administrator gets angry with me and decides to give me an unexpected holiday.

    Back to how everypony's day is...

    As for me, it was fine. Nothing too amazing happened today. I actually got up at the right time I wanted to, which was 8:00 AM. However, the best part of the whole day was after classes and when I got home around 4:00 PM, because I knew within an hour Foxy and Flash would be on EPR and I could also spend time on EP with all you guys. :)

    Also, it's a 3-day weekend for me because Monday is Labor Day. Yay!

    Well, my day was fine.
    Went to the library at lunch, did more annoying highschool stuff, and realised that I need a graphing calculator.... or math this year will be hell.
    I'm trying to be able to... be myself in public (it sounds strange, I know) and that's been okay now... I've been able to sing in public albeit quietly, and not in front of anyone I know... (a improvement though)
    and I was able to make a fair amount of conversation with my friend! (yes an improvement too)
    Now all there is left is to confront the jerk who pretends to be my "friend" (other guy than my friend I talked about earlier) and tell him to be... less jerky I guess or I won't be his friend.
    And try to get another friend, as I really only have one at school.

    Still, the best part of my day was the EPR Foxy and Flash show... closest to IRL I've been online, somewhat! :D
    I'll be taking advantage of my long weekend, and will be at Edmonton tommorow probably... and hopefully find some pony shirts!
    They'll not only make me 20% cooler... but to me they symbolise the fact that I'm willing to say who and what I am proudly!
    (I've been planning this waaay before I was a Brony though, lol)

    So... anyone in Edmonton and region who knows where some pony shirts, male, medium-sized to large are? I'd be really grateful XD

    Today was terrible and I'm tired of days not being good unless I try as hard as I can to not hate them and myself.

    Ha, I love you, Epony. XD

    Good God, I still need to get my graphing calculator too! XD

    But anyway, I'm glad your day got better as it went on and when you got on EPR XD

    *hugs* I hope things get better for you and know that I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

    A bucket full of awesomeness! With the exception of being at work at 2:30AM, pure awesomeness. Playing Xbox with my brony friends, enjoying the rainy weather, rocking out to some pony dubstep. Bwahahah!

    Tired, I've slept a total of three hours. I laid in my bed for 5 hours before I even got that. I guess 2 years overnight is finally taking its toll on me.

    ^same, somewhat...
    Today I had to wake up at 6:35 to deliver papers as a favor for someone I didn't know (warning, a bit of irritation)
    and got back after cycling around to deliver at 7:40-something. However, I kinda have a self-made policy of not going back to sleep so I EPR chatted...
    And after an hour or so (I think) I left to Edmonton.... which was mostly a waste of time because my sisters had to search for clothing, and we spent a REALLY LONG time on that...
    At least I got the Pinkie Pie brushable toy though, now my brushable collection is 1/2 complete. :D
    I'm on around 3 hours of sleep, but I refuse to sleep seeing as that losing my internet time (now till 2:00, for the long weekend) will be... irritating to say the least.
    Tommorow I'll have to deliver again. I think I'll flip out if asked again, that person's out of town way too often. :(

    Anyway, I'm glad to hear you got a new Pinkie Pie toy! :D You should post a picture of it in my Toys thread :3

    I'm still looking forward to that unboxing XP

    I had a good day. I got lots of writing on my fan fic, posted Chapter 2, Pixel seems to be enjoying it so that always makes me happy. Posted my pic, which is getting surprising comments. I also posted a pic of my Hedorah, but haven't heard from Snowy yet. Guess he's been busy. Had a very enjoyable time on radio chat. Went out for a little in the nice, bright sunshine - winter comes early in Reno, so I enjoy all the sun I can get. Within reason, that is. Then the wife and I did some RPG in her game, which is always fun. Now I'm posting again, keeping an eye on the magical 500 mark.

    Not that I would post just to boost my numbers! Oh, no! ;)

    T - 10 posts and counting! (This will make no sense once I pass 500, of course . . .)

    It's okay, I know I should change it XD
    But I can't when I only get internet till 12:30, I feel like I would be wasting precious extra internet time :p
    Then again, it's never been because of internet... I've been sleep deprived literally forever.
    But anyways, to change the subject, I'll be sure to post a picture of Pinkie on the toys thread, then XD
    Hmm, how about your day Snowy? :D

    That's understandable dude XD I use to have restrained internet too XD

    My day? holy crap, I don't even think I've posted about my day since I made this thread XD

    Anyway, today was pretty good, I watched the first Saw movie for the first time, I loved it's subtlety, story, and Jigsaw XD But the acting for the most part was horrendous, but whatever. I also got to talk to my ex (we broke up the prior weekend, it was for the best) and she seems to be having mood swings when talking to me because one day she seems apologetic and the next she seems to be angry as hell, but I can't blame her, this is her first time exiting a relationship, so only time will tell, I just gotta remember to keep up my "Good Guy" front XD

    Thank for asking :3 I'd give you rep if I hadn't already a few days ago XD
