Last week, while I was studying at the library, I took out my calculator and realized that I have had it for 7 or so years now.
Perhaps the item I have had for the longest time in my possession is my SNES.

Anypony here have things they have kept as far as their memory can recall?

I have an entire desk in my room dedicated to memorable childhood objects. Prolly the oldest artifact on that thing is my 11 year old stuffed wolf from Great Wolf Lodge.

I love that little thing :3

Being the idiot that I am, I got rid of all my Legos. :(

So my longest kept childhood item would be my Nintendo 64. Four working controllers, all my games work, and endless nostalgia when I pop in Ocarina of Time. Speaking of which...
But the longest item in my possession that I value just as much is my (You guessed it) Doom 2 CD-ROM. It's scratched to Hell (Get it?), but it still reads.

For me, my longest kept item is probably my Space Jam blanket, which now sits folded up in a drawer. That thing has been through a lot, but is probably the best blanket I've ever had. Other then that, I have a collection of books that I've had since I was like 9 or 10.

My longest kept item is likely my NES and copy of Super Mario Bros.

I have a big box full of all the old books I had since I was small, and another full of my toys.

But my oldest possessions are probably the two blankets I had as a baby. One is pretty much a bundle of threads, but I'm never getting rid of it.

I still have the old "brick" gameboy, and it still works, too. :3

My longest kept item is my SNES too  The documentation for it says it has a lifetime guarantee, so far so good.

I don't know what my next longest kept item would be, the SNES wins by a mile.

My oldest has to be my crystal ball. A large glass orb and light I picked out almost 13 years ago now.

I love that thing, even if it is for all intents and purposes a glorified night light, back then, I thought it was magical. I miss being naive.

Alarm Clock: Using since I was 7. Currently 23.
Smiley Face Pocket Watch: Got it from my grandpa right before he passed away when I was 8.
Blaster Master(NES): Still works in a console. Been playing since I was 4 or 5.
    Y2K Spaghetti O's: Unopened can from 1999.

Oldest is probably the teddy bear/dog (it's a dog) I was given practically at birth which I still have in my bed.

Next would be my PS1 complete with all the old old games I used to play on it, some souvenirs from ages past holidays....

Oh and my Rudolph Christmas stocking from nursery.
