She'd normally stay wherever she can, Cyanside dosen't have a job or any solid form of income (And due to that she's homeless), she just does odd jobs for ponies, so often she just sleeps where she can. Though sometimes ponies pay her back for said odd jobs with lodging, it's not very often. EDIT: If Derpy is in Fillydelphia, she's screwed. Because even though they do fear Cyanside in Fillydelphia, that fear often turns to hate which turns into mobs with pitchforks.
I'm wondering whether you guys have misunderstood the original idea a little. You haven't been placed within someone elses life so much as entirely replaced them. It's not originally like Quantum Leap or Freaky Friday. The machine has completely rewritten each characters lives, so you would have led their live up to that point and most likely altered it as a result of being you. So, Steel might have already spent time learning law in the Crystal Empire or Ria would have arrived in Equestria and likely attempted to fight Cydonia the first time round in her own way, securing a job as Luna's agent. However, I'm perfectly happy to be flexible if the whole group feels that Quantum Leaping would be simpler. I probably sound a little OCD here as I push my spectacles back up my face, preparing an entire rhetoric on time manipulation.
Ohh! That adds an entirely new level of interesting to this! Too bad I can't see Fair as a lawyer... guess I'll just have to try my hardest. I enjoy a bit of a challenge >:3
I know, right? That does mean that we have to figure out why this alternate reality Fair Law would be in a bar drinking though. Maybe she's more confident than Fair Cappricio?
Sure, why not. Being a lawyer would make somepony tougher than being an instrument player. :derpe: EDIT: How long do we have until our lives catch up? It's pretty hard to think of something that is in character yet out of character at the same time without being TOO wierd.
I dunno. The weird can be pretty good to read sometimes. Anyway, events and people that are familiar to the last pony to have that life will likely spark memories to appear. They would most likely be played by the other RPer's here. Take my last post as a sort of example.
For the sake of the universe, let's say no. To my knowledge, Karl had friends too so there would have been ponies around to try and stop him if he ever tried anything. So, we can assume that there would have been somepony to stop Rifter from doing enough damage to destroy the whole of existance. But he still could have done some damage. Perhaps somewhere is in ruin because of him? Or someone's alive that shouldn't? To my knowledge, The Clockmaker is meant to safeguard the world anyway. Destroying it would be against that.
"Silly Dinky, like you're old enough to be my mother?" (I'm not really bothered by it, but it was just hilarious as far as grammer mistakes go. Completely screwed up context GO!!!)
Yeah...I'll alter it slightly. I rejected 'Your my Mum' because it didn't sound conversational enough. Plus, she is a filly.
Well... not really. The Clockmaker is meant to "safeguard" Time, not the world. That task is in the hands/hooves of the inhabitants. There have been several Clockmakers to destroy the world, a number would be 16th. But really, it all goes down to who we're talking about. Rifter, however, is not a legitimate Clockmaker, so he has no right to alter anything in the existing world. Remember how Karl digitized his eye before being sent into the machine? He locked it into a space outside the flow of Time, much like The Rift. That takes away the ability to use the Crystallite Arm Scale System, or The Editor as Karl calls it. Without that, Rifter can't do much more than the standard magic and the powers that Karl had before he became the 44th. Think of the eye as a key. And that you need the key to be able to use The Clockmakers full power. So, no. Rifter can't destroy the fabric of Space and Time because he isn't really a Clockmaker. Although, i wrote that without thinking about the idea with this RP... well, i guess it works.
