Westboro, I just plain hate them. Though I find them entertaining at times. However, when it all comes down to it, they are basicly just an exaggeration of the faults already within other christians and maybe christianity in itself. I think belivers should bear this in mind. People will always use religion for their own purposes, you should not accept something just because it is said in the name of God, there is always the risk you may turn out just as bad as the WBC.

As much as Westboro Baptist Church sucks, they pale in comparison to groups like the Taliban, but given the chance, I bet they would do the same. Catholism learned its lesson of trying to violently oppose and attack those that don't follow them a long time ago, with the Inquistion, the Crusades, and such.

The thing I was really saying is while very few go to the extent of the WBC then it comes to condemning homosexuals, the attitde itself is common, the WBC is just an extreme of a more prevalent problem.
