Well...I hate to be right but...damn....that's some pretty powerful feels going on right there... R.I.P
Look up in the stars my child, the great apples of the past watch over us from these stars. Stars in MLP Universe= Guardian Angles. Also MLP now confirmed to take place in same world as Lion King XD. But yeah I had a feeling that was the case when the episode first aired. Knowing its true makes it even more heart tugging.
Guys, come on, they're OBVIOUSLY not dead, they're really just a couple of space heroes with no time to go home!
Seriously though, I don't think they can afford to put a case of death in a show like this. I think they're just missing at worst.
Uh, no, because later Sibsy confirmed that they were in fact dead to JohnJosesco and his livestream viewers.
I wasn't there for that livestream but if any piece of information comes from someone on the show staff then you know it's been pretty much confirmed.
Well, in that first pic, the person who replied was show staff, so... Anywho, I think I almost prefer it this way, as it can lead to moments like the shooting stars
I really hoped that they would abandon Laurent Faust's original idea, and that sooner or later we'd somewhere see live AJ's parents (even just in background). I remember that AJ's parents being dead was Laurent Faust's original idea, but other story writers didn't agree with it because it was too heavy for cartoon as mlp:fim. However, seems like (probably due to unexpected change in fans demography (that they didn't expect before Season 1)) they have technically put Faust's original idea in reality. (Alternative idea for season 1 and 2 by other story writers was that AJ's parents were traveling sales ponies, and they were never home since they were always on business trips selling products from the farm.)
From now on, I'm assuming all of the mane six's parents are dead unless otherwise stated. That way, I won't be devastated. ;_;
