I'm sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong place but does anybody thing the slowly rising and forming petter fandom for the new Littlest Pet Shop show think that it will become as big and popular as the brony fandom for our favorite show. (MLP FiM cough cough) Anyway share your thoughts with me on this topic.
I'm gonna say, NO. Bronies are a once in a lifetime thing, sure LPS is a decent toon, but its no MLP, just like Miguzi was no Toonami. You can't replicate stuff like this, you can try, but yeah....
You,re probably right but you never know it could happen after all noone thought MLP would go anywhere and we all know how wrong we were about that.
Feel free to jeer me for this, but in my honest opinion I think the Littlest Pet Shop fandom is just a sun-product of the MLP Fandom. A majority of the people who watch the show are likely bronies and have given the show a chance in the first place due to the rabid success of MLP. That being said, a fandom that follows along on the coattails of another fandom likely won't reach the same height, at least for a long while.
Bronies were created by accident, a 4chan troll on /b/ gone wrong when they actually brought positive attention to the show as people realised they actually liked it. Littlest Pet Shop is the latest creation by Hasbro, and thus a load of bronies have started watching it, but it will never be as big as MLP, Homestuck, Dr Who, Sherlock etc, seriously.
Wouldn't necessarily call The Zam a troll from what I read and heard on him... Anyways, that is essentially my train of thought in this
I don't think it's possible for LPS to get quite the fandom MLP FiM has. Sure there are fans of everything, and LPS is no exception. However, lets be humble here. In my opinion and mine alone, the show is adorable... ...But it can't capture the same spark that MLP FiM does. It feels... Artificial I guess would be the word. Whether you're worried or just curious, that's my take on it. But hey, I'm a new brony, haven't even been one for a month. My comment probably doesn't carry the same weight as the veterans.
I've seen a episode or two of it......I wasn't impressed. While MLP has humor that can be enjoyed by mostly everyone, all I saw from LPS was burp jokes from the male characters and prissy fashion types from the female characters. At least Rarity has more facets to her personality. Pound puppies is more enjoyable than LPS to me, but I think it'd take something a bit more unique for a show to get a really big fandom like MLP.
By the way in case anybody is wondering I've heard this word being used on both Thepetshopinsider.blogspot.com and LPS videos.
You got the fandom name wrong, they're called petophiles. Get it. Hopefully it does become like bronies. That would be the best.

Who's Doxy because I would love to see his art of my favorite pet by the way in case you're wondering i'm not a full fledged petter or fan i'm just a medium or maybe moderate petter I have yet to be impressed or wowed/ amazed by the show to be full one hundred percent fan like I am with superheroes, TMNT, MLP FiM, DBZ and Naruto Shippuden.
