    No, it's with my computer. Out of nowhere it's started to stutter every now and then when doing simple things, like browsing Windows Explorer or Firefox, and for some reason, Windows Media Player and a number of Steam games crash immediately upon launch. :/

    Then there's all the trouble I had trying to find a good way to record my gameplay with my Dazzle capture card with live commentary, but I found a decent solution to that.

    All this has driven me up a wall today and I have a massive headache because of it.

    I've always found that reinstalling the OS helps. Although that's a bad solution if you have a lot of applications you've paid for. Otherwise just do some general cleaning up.

    What everyone else said - clean up your disk and run a defrag. Make extra sure your page file is defragged too. Don't reformat your disk unless you're prepared to reinstall everything, including your hardware drivers.

    Also, I've decided I'm going to work in a different hat every day from now on.

    Yami, if you know when it started, before you go reinstalling the OS, just go to the nearest restore point before the issue began. Probably your best bet if something odd happened to a driver/software.

    Also, @Yami, mine's done that before now, download VLC Player (which is free and better than WMP), and if you keep having problems, re-download the latest edition of Firefox/IE, but sometimes you just have slow days on your computer for whatever reason, usually from processing too much at once in a short space of time.
