Haro everypony, I'm so sorry for being gone for so long. Life just took some unexpected turns, but now I find myself coming back and missing the fun times I had here!! I wanted to revamp or just start a new RP, preferrably with my old buddies here. I'm hoping for a fairly serious and active RP, with each post being at least a paragraph long, a strong and solid storyline built, and players who can dedicate. I've actually be working on a new role-playing system for usage around here for the adventure-style and GM run RPs. I've also been looking for solo adventurers, (secretly,) but I'll put that there for you if you want to take it.
Woohoo! I am ready! I mean I have been really busy lately, as school this year is a lot harder than last year to be honest. But I do have enough time to spare 5-10 minutes every so often for a good RP post. ^^
Ahhh well, first I love yal's new avatars. Secondly, I totally wouldn't mind using your system, Eight Star, and if you mean solo as in 1x1 I'm down with that too! I kinda wanna revamp Daisy Hills, but I noticed that there's a new Asylum RP in town, lol. So I'll list some vague ideas I've had: - exploring the history of the Crystal Ponies and King Sombra; perhaps some crystal pony adventurers who strived against King Sombra, creating a rebellion of sorts before the kingdom was banished. I'd be very interested in the strange world that they had disappeared to, and what they did during that 1000 years. - Assassin's Creed Crossover; there is a sect of assassins in Equestria who serve Luna, searching out and eliminating threats to Celestia's and Luna's rule (King Sombra's minions.) Would be pretty political, lots of intrigue, and could use mane ponies mixed with OCs (Pinkie would definitely be an assassin, for example.) - Adventure Time Crossover; in the world of Ooo, during the thousand years after the great Mushroom Wars, apparently rainicorns warred against the humans, destroying nearly all of them and bringing magic back to the world. This can easily be adjusted to involve ponies, describing the war between the destructive and materialistic humans and the harmonious ponies, who wish only to clear the earth of the rubble and wreckage from the wars and bring the planet back to life. - Dark Ages of Equestria; Celestia has fallen into an endless slumber, leaving Luna to rule. The seasons and days go completely screwy, and the land reflects this by degenerating into rot and decay. Sicknesses spread, creating a black plague that kills thousands of ponies, leaving the struggling towns as prey to the dragons who have hidden in the mountains for so long. The ponies that are left either hide and save their own hides, and the rest decide to take a last stand against the dragons and form a small army. They dig into celestia's libraries for the ancient texts of dragonslaying, an art that hasnt been needed in centuries. - Grimm's ponytales; it'd be intriguing to follow the old fairytales we all remember from childhood, but in Equestria. I'd prefer these to be somewhat gloomy, and we can have various ponies go on the different adventures together or apart, but in reality the stories are just being told to young fillies by an old wise pony (maybe Zecora?) Think about stories like Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Goldilocks, Rumpelstiltskin. These are all just brainstorming ideas. What do yal think?
Hmm... Dark Ages of Equestria piques my interest. I'll think of something for a group roleplay for the duo adventurers and get back to you after lunch with an OOC thread.
Haha, you think YOU'RE excited! I was just thinking about ya the other day, as a matter of fact, I was thinking about your Daisy Hills RP! Kinda weird how those things happen, y'know, you think of something and not long after something related happens! But again, I'm SOOO excited to have ya back! ^^
@Legion, xD that is uber wierd, cuz I was thinking about it the other day myself. Kinda the push that made me decide to log back in!! I'm still down with revamping that still, as a side thing, if yal are interested. Yeah, I'd love to do the AC crossover, me and my roomie run a facebook page of Vinyl and Octavia being assassins and its really fun.
