So, I was considering making a small game studio, as a one-off thing or to do multiple projects. Anyways, I need some bored people who can program, draw, write stories or music, playtest, or do anything to make a game. I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head, quite a few pony-related, but I'll wait to see if there's any interest before bombarding you with them.
Hello One question (upcoming GameDesigner talking :-D) : Do you already have experience with this or do you at least know what it takes to make a game? I`m just asking because I`ve already seen people trying to do the exact same thing as you, but didn`t know that it`s more complicated than just a few lines of code and graphics. Chiptune, probably. And I have taken classes on game design and researched it extensively. I am prepared for the commitment.

This is just a suggestion, but you could make the music then have someone adapt it to chiptune. Kinda like the game land music in Sonic Colors. Also, I can sort of write, but I wouldn't consider myself very good at it. I'm not very used to making chiptune music, my style is mainly orchestral, acoustic and jazz. Although, as previously stated, I can and have converted some of my stuff to chiptune.

Ok, well, if that`s the case... From what I understood so far, you want to create everything by yourself and the people who are willing to join, right? Just one suggestion: It would be much easier to use an already existing engine (for example something like RPG-Maker) for a project like this than to write one from scratch.
