Aren't furries the ones that like animals that have physical human characteristics or whatever? I still have no idea to be honest.
I think that I am going to have to see an episode to give it a fair chance. Any recommended episodes?
Yeah, that's correct. Having known a fair share of furries I know that they themselves tend to get pissed off when people think they're into bestiality. Granted, some of them do like animal's just as they are. Though they are referred to as ferals (I think. On a different note ferals is apparently a misspelling of liberals, go figure). Either way I just get pissed off when people get the wrong fandom's for stuff. Like calling a fan of Star Wars a trekky. If they haven't said they're part of that other fandom, why are you connecting them to it? That's because our world today is all about sex. Either I was just really naive growing up as a kid, or suddenly sex is something the people just talk about with each other on the street. Now everything needs to have some sex appeal otherwise there isn't a point to it existing. So when we say we watch MLP, they instantly assume that their must be some sex appeal in it one way or another. Hence the stupid link to bestiality and paedophilia.
I'm not the type who sexualizes everything, but "petter" just sounds weird. Isn't there a better name? I watched an episode of that show and couldn't stand it. The humans all look like Bratz dolls and the animals just act weird.
Petter is the official name of the fandom but I've also heard some people refer to themselves as Pet Shop Bros too if that's better for you?
The show really is awesome though I just wish more people knew about it and thepetshopinsider.blogspot.com had more viewers and it would get updated as frequently as Equestria Daily.com but otherwise I love this show as much as I love MLP FiM.
I haven't really tried this show yet. I might do soon, but at the moment, a mixture of laziness, buissiness, and RPGs is giving me little time... Maybe in a month or two.
The character in my avatar is a character from LPS named Zoe Trent she does have Twilight's color scheme but is voiced by Nicole Oliver and acts like Rarity.
I plan to give LPS a chance since (as I stated before) looks to be the only decent show on the HUB besides MLP. I can't say I will become a petter, but it looks decent enough, I never thought I would like MLP, but now it's my favorite show and I consider myself a brony. So anything can happen. As far as what I believe how the LPS/ petter fandom would be. I can see it catching fire, and being pretty popular, but I doubt it would get close to the MLP/ brony base. I think how most people got into LPS was from the commercials on HUB while watching MLP and got intrigued and gave it a shot. So if LPS ever goes far, it has MLP to thank. @ Frost: STAY OUT OF MY SHED!
Yeah I know that most if not all of the people who watch LPS like me before I went full on petter last week probably watch it because of the commercials but it's also a good occasionally funny show with catchy songs composed by Daniel Ingram and great voice acting not only from the MLP voice actors on the show but also the ones who are exclusive to LPS like Kira Tozer, Kyle Rideout, Michael Kopsa and Joceylyn Loewen are also pretty good you should definetly check it out it's a very good show in my opinion only a little tiny bit better and more enjoyable than MLP FiM.
I wonder how long it will take for the LPS fandom to get really popular to the point were there's more than three petter musicians out there and we start seeing some more fan made music and fan made videos/ fan animations on thepetshopinsider.blogspot.com because I have yet to see any fanmade fan animations/ fan made videos being posted on thepetshopinsider or Youtube.com?
If the show progresses and gets more of a following, it can start having more fan-based music, videos, and other media. Hopefully it will happen.
