I'll admit Rarity was my least favorite, at first.. But after getting to know all the mane six well, I can't pick a least favorite XD ...All I know is my favorite is a tie between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash... BTW, how do you make a group? (I wanna make one for Apple Bloom)
You know, when I first started watching My Little pony, I did kind of jump on the bandwagon of making a list of my favourite ponies. I think my initial one, after a few episodes, was something like this. Fluttershy Rainbow Dash Twilight Sparkle Applejack Pinkie Pie Rarity However, as I watched the show more and more, opinons changed. Twilight Sparkle became less appealing, and Pinkie Pie started making more sense as a character (by making less sense as a pony...). Rarity however, shot up the ranks. I later decided that there was no favourite pony, and that they each contributed to the machine of the show with their own characteristics. To this day, I preach the concept of 'everypony equal, everpony loved'. However, I've recently really taken a liking to Rarity. She's an interesting character, one that you have to give time to appreciate. At a glance, she's the vain, glamorous type, which is why I wasn't too fond of her at first. But, (and this is where the overanalysing comes into it), there's more to her. She's the frustrated artist, bound by so many limitations, restricted by that less than her mind. Obviously none of this went into writing the character, it's My Little Pony after all, but that's still what I see in Rarity. The creator that just wants to express, to be known. If that wasn't enough, these pieces from Crookedtrees and this song from JackleApp has really pushed my non-favouritism stance to the limit. After being the runt of the litter for so long, could Rarity really be... ...best pony? I'll update my thoughts about Rarity since she's bumped up to being tied for my 3rd favorite pony. 1. I just loved her overall performance in Suited For Success. Art of the Dress still stands as one of my favorite songs. In my MLP game, I even put gave Rarity's stage the 8-bit version of Art of the Dress 2. Spike's crush on Rarity has always put a smile on my face. Something tells me that Rarity knows about his crush and is just playing along with it. 3. The one quote to me that defines Rarity's humor: "But I THOUGHT YOU WANTED WHINING!". 'nough said.
Rarity Rarity Rarity how can I describe rarity She's my least favourite I guess I should come out right now and mention that. I guess its because I can't relate to her character. Wait maybe I can. I think its because "she's the girly one who makes dresses" she however dose work hard and... Give me a while I got to rethink my entier image of Rarity to accommodate for how awesome I just realised she is. He's the world champ, you know. I bet you can't beat him! *SQUEE* One of the things that makes me like Rarity is the fact that you initially expect someone like her to be a total b**** when she's actually quite the opposite.
"A Dog and Pony Show" was the first episode I saw. from then on Rarity was my favorite. Of course as an artist I identify with her as a character and the whining was hilarious.
