We're well aware of the abilty to modify the forum software and have already done so in many cases.

I am a firm believer however that too many sweet features will actually degrade a site, making it more confusing or complex than it needs to be. Additions should most certainly be tasteful, appropriate and well thought out.

I guess nothing is really out of the option, although commercial stuff is a problem, particuarly subscriptions, if you think there is something we would REALLY benefit from, do let us know. The worst we'll say is no, so it's often worth a shout out at the very least.

Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, indeed.

I'm compiling applications for a later date. If you want to apply, feel free to now. When Grey is finished with his break and all that, I'll adress him.

No no, I know. No forum sits as-is from the box for long, lol. First impressions, right off? I found it confusing on where to post. I've found setting down sections is like painting camouflage, you have to know where/when to stop. Every extra section under the same basic topic takes posts from another section under that same topic. It's kind of a 'united we stand, divided we fall' situation. The vb forum, (games forum), I was talking about earlier still has the sections for the first version of the game split into 4-5 sections. Even though there's a post there about once every month or so. With that kind of traffic they could merge the sections into a general topic area, and maybe a single creators corner section. Now that wouldn't stimulate traffic, but it would be more convenient to the forum as a whole by not having to scroll around to reference the various sections for that version of the game. 'Brevity is the source of wit' and so on. (BTW, I'll apply if you think I'd be of some help.)

This idea isn't canned any more. We're getting the band back together.

PM me if you still want to be a part of this. Now is the time.

The Review Team will function the same way it had in the past. You are there to provide, suggest, and discuss upon ideas. Perhaps you should re-evaluate your motives if you're joining for the sake of expecting privileges.

I'm definitely interested in this! I've been around for some time now, and I used to post a lot, averaging at around 48 per day when I was active... That all changed when my laptop broke a few months back. I bought my friends old laptop off him today for an extremely modest price of £30, so I can once again get up to speed with regards to activity.
I'm good with problem solving (which likely comes from my love of maths) and I'm a people person, so have no worries about me not replying. I enjoy group discussion, though I must admit that I prefer small groups to larger ones, as I feel it gives everyone a chance to have their say fully appreciated. I seem to show most of my initiative whilst working in groups, and I'm one of those people who, once the ball starts rolling, finds it hard to lose momentum. One small idea can make me think up a multitude of things.
I'd be more than happy to lend a hoof out if I get in, and would do my best to help the site out.

    Adding you now.
Just so this post doesn't seem completely pointless, I have to add your signature is strangely hilarious.

Well. I always like to try and help, and I've been around here a fair bit. I could be like that guy that hangs around the blog entries looking for idea's people have... Or I could just throw my ideas at a brick wall and see which once bounces off best. Anything I can do to help out.
