I have no idea if this is where to post suggestions or things like that but i would recommend implementing a Tech Support section of the forum. Where everypony can post their problems with their technology and seek out help from their fellow ponies in that specific area which is certainly a broad one. My line of work is building/repairing computers and being a CH consultant and i'd love to take on some new troubleshooting challenges here on the forum if anypony had some to offer! So it's just a suggestion, hope the staff takes it into mind ^.^ thanks!~
I second this motion! I'm currently working pretty much the same field as AxiomaticGeek and I'd love to see a section like that on here!
I think a more general help thread would be good, for those topics that aren't personal enough for Pinkie's Friend in Need. The members on here have a wide range of interests, so I'm sure that most general questions could be answered.
I like the general help idea, but I'd shy away from using the word "professional". That may open a can of worms if some advice goes wrong.
I'm liking this idea, even though I don't think anybody on here could help me with some of my technical issues. Darn electronic medical record systems.
I'm so glad to hear everyone's supporting the Idea!! ^_^ I like that idea as well of the General Help section with technology sub section and some others! ^.^
btw: Tons of things could have gone wrong in that little accident Could have loosened a capacitor next to the RAM on your motherboard, could have knocked the PSU out of place, could have internally damaged any component. There are certainly many things to rule out so, yes a forum section like this would definitely aid you in a community effort! Go ahead and PM me until then if you wish to seek out further help
