This. I got my two Princess Cadance's for less than what an alicorn Twilight Sparkle costs! With the money I'd have to spend, I could equally just use it to pay for standard ticket and travel to BUCK. Hasbro, I am disappoint.

I agree with the general feeling of table-flipping. But I like the plushie, it just needs to have less....wings.
the German company-made Twilight Sparkle plushie looks WAY better than the one with wings. And I'm not just saying that because of the whole alicorn issue. I just mean that the German one looks more authentic and better-made. Cuter too I feel that Hasbro has cut way too many corners with the quality of their MLP G4 pony toys anyway. Kinda sucks how the show is so amazing, but the most of the merch from the company has been shamefully poor-quality. The toys don't do the characters justice in my opinion.
Agreed. I know for a fact that most collectors of all MLP merch (the people who collect older gens too) are rather disappointed with G4 merch. Although, imo all the older gen merch is kinda horrifying... So far the only official merch that is really worth buying are blind bags and brushables. For everything else, there's custom.
Some would argue that the older gen shows were horrifying, let alone the merch xD Haha, honestly though, I sorta feel that watching the original gen 1 pilot should be considered something of a brony right-of-passage l-) I hear the brushables are pretty popular, but I can't help but grimace a little when I see them. It's impossible for brushables to get a screen-perfect hair style, and the little OCD part of my mind just won't accept them. As for the blind-bag figures, I was pretty impressed, until I saw how they re-used molds so Rainbow Dash looks great, but now Fluttershy has the same hair-style, as well as a pose that doesn't suit her character at all. It just made me disappoint... Nope, as of now I'm holding out for the new plushies. You know you wanna cuddle them just as much as I do x3
