Sorry about that, I'm testing a bit of code to try and workaround the timeout issue people are having... Obviously it didn't work. :derpe:
The chat has been broken for me for weeks now. I use IE8. Works on Firefox and Chrome though. Sent screenshots to Ramza a couple weeks ago.
Indeed. Thanks for promptly reporting it though. ^^ Sorry, I don't have a system with IE8 to run tests on...But from experience IE is finicky with Javascript (and web-code in general), which the chat runs heavily on...I have plans in the future to find a better chat environment to use, but not when I'm occupied with school.
Since you're using Windows 7 you should upgrade to IE9 (which should have happened automatically). The chat works fine on IE9. And that's definitely something with the Javascript. Perhaps there is some security setting in your IE config preventing it from running correctly. I couldn't really tell you from that image alone.
It did upgrade automatically when I installed Windows 7 months ago, but I hated it so I went back to IE8. Worked perfectly fine for a long time on Windows 7/IE8. Don't know why it hasn't for several weeks now.
Could try resetting IE's options to default (Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab -> Reset)...Not sure if that will be your solution though. A number of things could cause something like this. I'll let you know if I find anything more helpful than that.
For now use vbulletin's Remember Me option when logging in if you don't want to be automatically logged out every half hour. I'm actively looking for a proper fix but use this for now. For the time being please ignore any database errors you get from the chat. These can occur at times when I'm working on the chat while you are logged in.
