Notice how even though the mirror is glowing with magic, neither of their horns are. A very common mistake in season 3.
Cute episode, but my fav is still magic duel I like how they present imperfect ponies, this time with claustrophobia
In the first page of this thread someone said the writers mentioned that TS goes a little goofy, or something. Which of course I thought that meant something similar to Lesson Zero: Epic Pony Freakout Time. But instead she did something probably even more nutty....she kept her cool the entire time, they all did actually. So the writers were definitely trollin' (again) but that's cool. Even though I really want to see an epic freakout again soon...maybe s4 will grant me that. xD Anyway, the part where RD hit the roof and Rarity was like, "dafuq was that?" Made my day. And how they tied it in perfectly with Spike at your Service, made that entire episode. Even if they really haven't weaved together this seasons' various episode plots, this small bit of storyline complexity is very redeeming for this season, imo. Great episode, and it also bumped up my opinion of Spike at your Service, if only by association. >.<
I thought I accidentally clicked on a troll video, and it was showing me Episode 11 again. Than I caught onto the point before I foolishly closed the video. xD
I thought this as well. Although I thought that it was pretty interesting how they made the two separate episodes happen at the same time as each other.
Same here. I need to go back and watch both episodes so I can catch all the tie-ins. Fun episode, actually enjoyed Rarity in it (that's a... rarity) and the princess foreshadowing was clever. -- If I had to complain about something, I'd question why the writers feel the need to re-enact the Twilight-Cadence greeting every time they meet. Are they worried we'll accuse them of breaking continuity if the two just say "good to see you"? Ah well. At least the camera panned away quickly.
That is their greeting. I think it's kinda cute they have their own thing, like a secret handshake or something.
Yeah. I don't think its anything but just some of significance between Twilight and Cadence that the writers decided to maintain. I mean, inside jokes and things between friends are common. I suppose its also meant to testify to their previously existing chemistry and history. That or this has gotten WAY too complicated for something as simple as a handshake. xD
Heh. You usually make all the points I want to make before I get a chance too. I know that the MLP episodes are loosely connected, even though most of them are an "Adventure of the Week" format. But lets say someone watched for the first time last episode. That handshake lets new watchers know that those two characters have a previously existing relationship. =P
