I just ran across this... Official plushies - they're not bad either! (except Fluttershy...you'll see) You can pre order them now from ToyWiz.com here: http://www.toywiz.com/mlpsoft.html They're $16 USD each and they ship in June I think I know what I'm getting soon... ^.^ **Edit: They're also making Beanie Babies...
No Fluttershy? Spoiler I want dat Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash's wings look a bit strange and her eyes are kinda weird too. EDIT: Found Fluttershy. lol she's bald.
hmm.. These could still be better.. I'm holding out for quality equal to that of the Nici plushies from Germany. They looked absolutely fabulous
The NICI ones were really nice, I actually just looked up the NICI site, but they don't have any MLP plushes listed in their product lines...I guess they're not even available in Germany yet?
That's my guess. The NICI plushies were only just announced like a month ago, as far as I know, so it stands to reason that they just aren't available for purchase yet.
Ah, now I remember the NICI ones. The smaller ones like Twilight/RD aren't too bad...but that big Pinkie Pie...looks like it's screaming "kill me" inside its head. The ones with the fuzzy manes weren't bad, I thought those were NICI. Well, the RD one didn't look bad cuz the fuzzy mane and tail just made her look like the filly version of herself.
I have a feeling the fuzzy-mane ponies were not NICI. Also I agree with your RD Filly observation l-) I really prefer the manes on those beautiful NICI ponies though. The medium and small ponies in your picture are just perfect. That large Pinkie Pie though... eh.. somebody messed up there
Not sure if they're NICI or not, dodo posted this picture in the German Pony Plushies thread though. They have these listed for sale on ToyWiz, they're made by Hasbro Not sure if they're the same though. Well, the NICI ones are supposed to be priced at 90 euros for the large ones, which I think is around 100 USD maybe. But the ones I think you're thinking of are custom plushies, which can be a couple hundred.
I think the medium-sized ones were only supposed to be around 30 Euros, which is pretty darn affordable for such great quality
