If you told me a year ago that My Little Pony would be my favorite show, I would have kicked your ass. But now that all my preconceived notions have been long since laid to rest, I gotta say the experience of my first season as a brony (even if it was cut in half) was pretty awesome. I came in way after S2 ended so I had some catching up to do. That was fun enough, but to experience new episodes when everyone else did made it all the more special.
Now I get to experience my first off-season... NOT so thrilled about that.:sigh:

Too bad you weren't here for the time between season 1 and 2. Those days were pure magic.

This season was my first season, in terms of episodes airing. Before I watched anything from Season 3, I marathoned through the previous 50-something episodes.

True, that was the golden age for the fandom.

I was kinda like you expect one season earlier. There is nothing more special then going to a party full of fellow bronies to all watch the episodes in a room together. We had a couple of drunken mare-a-thons too.

I joined shortly after the first season finished and I was already right into making PMV right from the very start. I can honestly say that my involvement in the Brony community has been the funnest and most influential period of my life. Making friends and improving my hobbies as I make pony related stuff with them.

I have reasoning to believe that Season 4 will be the next Season 2, I can't see them having another off season like this, especially considering this season was only 13 episodes.

If everyone can just stop with all the pointless dramatics and arguments over what's happening with the show, I think Season 4 could bring back the amazing brony spark.

Having joined the fandom in the closing days of Season 1, I didn't experience much of the awesomeness I've heard about between Season 1 and 2, I didn't know many bronies back then. Season 2's running time however, was probably the best period of my life.

Aww, so there is negativity about Season 3 here as well. Lol, I thought it was just my local community, many of which have been turned off even calling themselves brony. I thought season 3 was a little bit of a step down from Season 2, but still very good.

There has certainly been more drama during S3's running time.

Most people seem to be alright with s3 in general, most of the issue has been with Twilicorn. Still, many consider it to be sub-par to s1+2.

IMO with a few minor exceptions, s3 has been pretty awesome, even the finale was good...I'm just not big on Twilicorn. However, I really hope that Poetic is right, and that s4 can bring back the spark.

s4 should prove to be an exciting time to be a brony.

After a two day marathon, starting with episode 1-1 and ending with 3-12, waiting two more whole days for the next show was difficult enough.
Now I get to wait for September.

    Yay.

I got in fandom at end of season 1 (beginning of that time), and that whole atmosphere got me to get into fandom (otherwise, I'd probably just watch the show, and not get in community at all)

Season 3 was the season I hopped on board too! And now I wait patiently for Season 4, my first season where I get to be apart of the community from the Season premier! :)

I had started watching the show around March or April in 2012, back when Season 2 was almost over. After watching a marathon of every episode, I caught the last 4 episodes of Season 2 when they were new, then enjoyed the wait for Season 3. A shame that it's over already, and I was hoping for a better season finale. However, this sets up Season 4 to be full of awesome, and with 26 episodes (supposedly), I'm sure I'll be sticking around to get more ponies.

I'm pretty sure most of us not just me started watching and getting into the show during the pre Season 2 Summer as you know Season 2 started in Fall 2011.
