Uh. I'm not from a state, I'm from a province. A province in Canada. Newfoundland & Labrador to be exact. =D
I'm from the county (or "judeţ", as we call an administrative region of Romania) of Constanţa. It's the one at the south-east end of the country. Also, as long as I posted this here, the colours mark the four major historical regions of Romania: Transilvania (G), Moldova (R), Muntenia (B) and Dobrogea (Y).
I'm stuck in Huntsville, TX, an hour north of Houston, and it would be AWESOME to know some fellow bronies IRL.
I live in Zagreb City in Croatia. Croatia is divided into 20 counties (as we call it, Županije) + Zagreb City as special county (since it's capital city (kinda like DC in USA)) here's map and how it looks like: (I'm in Grad Zagreb which translates to Zagreb City)
I currently live in Georgia, but me, my mother, and my sister are supposedly moving to South Carolina later on this year. She didn't really say when, but I'm assuming later on in the year because I know my mom wouldn't cut my school year short at this point. Though, I'm still awfully dubious of us moving anytime soon. We've been in Georgia since mid 2003, came from St. Louis, Missouri. Still, kinda ready to move on. Not the most pleasant experience living where I have been for nearly ten years.
Something similar happens Romania, where Bucureşti/Bucharest (our capital) is treated, alternatively, as the administrative seat (or, as we call it "reşedinţă", lit. "residence") of Ilfov county and a standalone county-like entity.
Ah! So I'm not the only one! I hail from Denver, Colorado, as my location makes obvious XP Love it here. Lived here my whole life. And yes, I would be screwed if I didn't have the mountains to remind me what direction I'm facing.
