What do you think about the new comic?

Eh, it was alright. Not as good as the other MLP comic series, but still pretty good. I didn't really like Jade Singer, too much of a jerk for me.

I think the art style could be a little bit better, But it's really got some hilarious jokes.

The Writing was Great, but thats to be expected as Zahler excels at Slice Of Life & Comedy, *if you haven't checked out his other work Love & Capes, you really should!* And as for the art, kind of hard to beat Andy Price, we've been spoiled by that man's art. I will say in Zahler's defense it was his first time drawing ponies, and the art does get better as the book goes on, yes its still flat overall, but it fits the tone of the story well enough to help the book stay enjoyable overall. So yeah its a solid SOL story IMO, and we should cherish it as its most likely the last Slice Of Life Unicorn Twilight Sparkle story we may ever get, just sayin.

    I just read it.
I think it was just ok.
there was couple funny moments and all.
It's interesting to see all Twilight's interest in books and who's her favorite book writer and all.
Although, I have to say, I like the main series more (for now).

I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure they said she was going to stay a unicorn in the comics, so...

I haven't read it yet. I hope the writing is REALLY good, because the art is terrible. Did they pay somebody to draw this or just pull some random pony artist off of DeviantArt?

EDIT: Read it last night. It was cute. I'm still meh about the art, but I liked the leisurely pacing of the story and the literary focus. The various horse-punned book titles made for a decent chuckle: I Have No Snout Yet I Must Whinny and Marble Universe were probably my favorites (although the latter was one of the few that wasn't a horse pun).

Also: Twilight curled up with that book at the top of the book stack in the library was one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

Jade Singer wasn't my favorite. I do like how she gradually warmed to Twilight over time, though.
