It's been a while since I made any suggestions here such as the usertitles and statistics bar showing most recents posts and most popular threads, which I still think are good ideas. Anyway, something has been bothering me lately. One of the threads I follow most here is Yeti's vector thread. This idea is taken from another forum where I'm active on a daily basis.(non-pony related) What if we had a resizer for images? The image would automatically be resized to fit nicely within a post. Also, there would be an option to click on the image and make it full size if you wish. I can't speak for everyone, but it would cut down the serious lag I get when browsing through certain threads.

Another idea I had was the option to receive a notification when your post has been quoted. Obviously keep it optional because for some it would get real annoying really fast. I've actually found some old threads before where I was quoted and questioned but never answered because I didn't even know it existed. This would be really convenient for those like me who usually keep plenty of windows open and keep refreshing to see if someone is talking to you or is asking you a question. I have mixed feelings about this idea, but I was curious what others would think of it.

Image idea: I dunno, I guess it would be okay.

Notification idea: Eh, couldn't you just subscribe to the thread...?

Let me just say that aside from the lag I get from large images, this is very annoying:

As for subscribing to threads, well, I'd rather not subscribe to every thread I ever post in.

My God, I was just about to post a thread about this! xD It gets very annoying when you're replied to, and ya don't even know it.
    Fully supportings this, definetely.

I don't have much problem with lagginess, but ya, I think that the image resizer would definetly be a good idea. *Nod* So yeah, I support this too.

For the image resizer: Great Idea! Especially with the big art Threads! I love Yetis Vectors, but sometimes the thread needs like 5 minutes to completely load! So for people with a bad internet connection it would be great!

Images are already automatically resized to fit in a post. You could put these in spoiler tags to reduce the size, and thus reduce the lag some people experience. To view any image posted here in full size, you could just right-click and copy/paste the image location into a new tab.

    Just saying. :derpe:

There's always an alternative. The point is to make it more convenient. Sounds like laziness to me.

    Just saying.:derpe:

Here is an example of how it works:

Then if you click on the bar for whatever reason:

Good point. I will look around for resizing plugins for this. This should be completed now. Let me know if the plugin causes issues.

This is a good idea, but this may not be possible. I'll update more on this.
