    I read a theory on TV Tropes that I quite like. They noted that when Ralph comes back to the apartment, everyone else is gone, but Gene is still there. He may be a jerk, but he was still holding out hope that things would work out and he seemed more disappointed than angry. As an alternate character interpretation, that's actually kind of a tearjerker.

    In other news, I'm going down the mountain to the game store later to trade in a bunch of dvds for store credit. I might use it to get a PSP, if they have the original 1000 model (AKAIK, that's the easiest one to hack so I can put emulaters on it and play whatever game I want).

    No kidding. I'm a big fan of the TurboGrafx 16 and there are quite a few good PC Engine games that never made it to the Turbo. If you're into imports, the PC Engine is the way to go.

    I took a make-up portion of my Japanese midterm today. I didn't know what any of the words meant, and still ended up getting a perfect score. It bumped my grade on the test from a C to a B.
