So I own a 1988 Accordpony. :/ she's having a hard time... two rust holes on each side, not-working alternator and her engine's mileage is 334k. :/ I'm not going to scrap as I spent a fortune on that poor pony. What to do with these tho? Here is the whole pony She also likes to get her brakes stuck ...
That rust damage looks bad. Even worse, the visible rust damage on a car is often minor compared to the rust damage that you can't see. If the engine is bad too, your car may very well be beyond hope. I suggest fixing what you can to make her drivable, and preparing for the day that she inevitably dies. Sorry.
Oh my...rust is automotive cancer...I would hate to say it but, well, you should keep her drivable, but you need to be prepared to either A: Spend the money in order to fix the damage (AKA a LOT of money), of B:...replace her...
No problem... I just can't.. scrap her... she's like a living thing to me, I love her so much! i will fix her up.. and hope to drive as long as possible.
