    To be fair, I've only semi-recently started to like Rainbow Dash. But after seeing the evolution of her character, she's moved up my list.

    Anyway. Derpy. Yes, I love Derpy. She's an amazing background character and I think it's great to have a character with some flaws (klutzy, derped eyes, ect.) No one's perfect and I think she really drives that point home.

    She's...a'ight. Aside from being cute, I never got what all the hubbub surrounding her was about. I see that she's a proverbial tip-of-the-fedorahat to the adult fans, and that some see her as an inspiration to "being different", but that's not enough to sell me on her (or any background pone, for that matter) as the hugely influential, super-awesome god among ponies that the entire rest of the fandom quite obnoxiously venerates her as.
    In short, she's just a cute BG pony with funny eyes and a funny name. :derpe:
