I just read this, being I've seen all the Saw movies, this gave me the impression of that & the look of the place. Any anypony who hasn't read cupcakes - you can get an idea of it from that comment......trust - the person who wrote it has an in depth imagination. - NOT for the weak!
Not quite. While they may possess an exoskeleton, Xenos born from a human host do possess skull that are stored under the dome on their head, as seen in close-ups of the creature in ALIEN. Spoiler: Xenomorph This was dropped from the creatures design until 2007 when Alien Vs. Predator Requiem featured a Predalian (Xeno born from a Predator) with a skull under it's dome. Okay, please resume your grimdark discussion. ^^
Barring how off topic this thread has gone... Seen most of the Saw movies, haven't seen Hostel 2. Either way, I wasn't really fazed by it. I find the Diablo games/lore (in depth) significantly more violent by contrast. I started to laugh at the jokes about 30 minutes later when I was doing the dishes. People do take it seriously when it's really not meant to be. Author's intent!
Yeah same, some bits in the movies made go "owch" but nothing more. I'm a fan of horror a sci-fi so they go hand in hand with me lol with Blu-Cup's mention of AVP2 The only part of that film that I didn't like & thought was OTT Spoiler: Scene Description Was with the pregnant woman getting impregnated an they baby alien bursting out. For me seeing the eggs go down her throat & then them alien bursting out where her baby would of been was OTT
Hostel/Saw movies are generally worse. Cupcakes doesn't cover any territory that those didn't. And since those are movies, they are far more graphical. I had difficulties visualizing the scene for Cupcakes, so I drew from Hostel since the setting for the gore was very similar.
I have an amazing imagination for visualising & voicing what I'm reading - if you would of seen what I visualised....it wasn't pretty

I draw, so I'm very good at visualizing things I read or contemplate. Ands thusly, I'd rather not read about ponies getting chopped into little bits.
I've read Cupcakes, and it didn't faze me at all. Then again, I've seen every Saw movie, except the last one, and both Hostel movies. So when I read Cupcakes, the way the everything was described in the story actually made me go "that's it? that's the best you can do violence wise?" I actually found it well written enough it was actually enjoyable! I wouldn't mind reaing it again if i had the chance! Oh Cupcakes, you so silly. But really, I've never read it. Then again I've never read and never will read fanfiction. It's just not something I'd ever like doing. So I guess I'll never get to see this either incredibly gruesome or completely unfazing story.
Cupcakes isn't that bad. Now, what I read, those fanfics were BAAAA-AD. Let's just say that I hate them, they are waaay worse than Cupcakes in my opinion. Cupcakes got all the hype though, because of its being one of the first horror-pony fictions. Okay, maybe I didn't like Cupcakes that much either. But basically I'm saying that the worse ones are, well, worse. We should have something like a pony-fic database to tell you the general idea of the fic... (just read Sweet Apple Acres Massacre.... I did not expect that, nobody should) Because I've had enough of reading extreme-grimdark, somewhat adult/totally adult pony fiction by accident!!!! It's only happened twice, but I know better than to just randomly read a fic that's not on a regulated site like here anymore.
