you probably all ready know what I am going to ask. I havent seen all of season 1 yet, but was just wondering if they get their cutie marks and how it goes down?
Yes, they all get them in the season three episode "On your marks, set, GO!. SPOILERS: - Apple Bloom's talent is tapdancing, so she gets a pair of shoes as her cutie mark. She later breaks her hind leg and must leave her career early, doomed to live an unhappy life forever. - Sweetie Belle becomes a boxer and marries a deer. Her cutie mark, a pair of boxing gloves, represents both her talent and her constant struggle against the prejudice her and her partner are faces with as an interspecies relationship. - Scootaloo's cutie mark is a scooter because Scootaloo is awesome in a scooter.
Applebloom's talent is building/ repairing stuff Sweetie Belle's talent is singing Scootaloo's talent is being really great and awesome athlete not just on her scooter but a all around really great athlete.

That would suck if that really happen. Do you guys think they will get it in Season 4? I can see some stories being played off with them getting their cutie marks actually.
They haven't been announced, buuuut based on previous Generations, we can safely assume.... -Sweetie Belle will have a Heart for a Cutie Mark. -Scootaloo will have a butterfly. -Apple Bloom... Who knows, she was only announced in G4. *Shrug*
G4 a.k.a. FiM is not at all related or based on those horrible previous three generations of the show.
Well... Yes. It kinda is. Anywho, Fluttershy's based on G3 Fluttershy, both had Butterflies in their cutie mark. Rainbow Dash and G3 Rainbow Dash both have clouds, Apple Jack and G1 Apple Jack both have apples. There's many more exaples of this too, so it's safe to say that G3 Sweetie Belle and Sweetie Belle will have the same or similar cutie marks, and that G3 Scootaloo and Scootaloo will have similar Cutie Marks, based on the fact they're the same ponies in different generations.
But G3 Rainbow Dash has two clouds with a rainbow, while G4 RD has one cloud with a lightning bolt, and even though Hasbro being in denial is pretty obvious with the toys, the Cheerilees both have different cutiemarks in both generations. So yeah, I wouldn't really call them the same or even all that similar.
They're not the exact same design, but both G3 and G4 Cheerilee's cutie marks are of some flowers. Most ponies, like Cheerilee and Rainbow Dash, have similar designs and cutie mark themes to those of the previous gens, so it's unlikely that Scootaloo's and Sweetie Belle's cutie marks will stray that far away from the original's. As for Rainbow Dash, it's still a rainbow, it's still coming from a cloud. Yet again, it's just a different design. I think it'd be quite safe to say that Sweetie belle's mark will still be something to do with a heart, and Scootaloo's something to do with a Butterfly. Maybe it'll be a different design, but considering the similarities between the previous gen ponies and their newer selves, they'll have the same themes.

They reveal that in an episode I myself haven't seen yet. As of Season 2, Episode 13 I can reason though that Scootaloo's will likely be a scooter, as she seems to be quite talented at doing tricks on it.
