We are the sum product of all the experiences in our lives. Everything we see and do, in some small way, leaves its mark upon us and helps to shape who we are.

In that sense, this MLP experience, the fandom... will undoubtably have an effect -be it large or small- on all of us.

One can only hope that this effect is a positive one, and I believe that for most of us it has been.

I think what mlp has added to my life is, no matter why people criticize you or may even bully you for being different is that your not alone i may be socialy arkward or lack self confidence because of the things that have happend to me so i thought, whats the point of being nice to people if they just throw it in youre face so i was kind of depressed. But then after watching it and being apart of this fandom it made me realize that not everyone is bad, and that you should be more kind and be proud of yourself, so now im more happier since joining, beacause of this fandom has showed me that there are so many people out there who are just the same as me and are there actions to outher people inspired by this show to care and tolerate one another which has made me do the same. :)

Not only has this show taught me not to judge a book by it's cover but it also taught me not to be ashamed of what show I like. Basically now a days I try to give a show a chance and watch more than one episode without judging it beforehand.

Mostly the show and the fandom did for me was to be more of myself then before and not let others get to me, Regardless of the past before the show or the fandom. I never suspected that this show alone would grow so fast in the matter of months in the first few months when the show came since I watched in back in November of 2010. Funny that a joke from 4chan created something wonder. Nowadays, I don't care what people say to me about when I watch or anything for that matter. I been called a Clopper, F word, Gay, Ridiculed and laughed at, lost old friends cause of it but I pressed on and made it this far. Things have changed. My current friends who stayed with me, like only 3 of them and 2 of them are bronies now and the other doesn't care that I watch it. This fandom is the best for me and mostly be for me in the first place. Know I wasn't alone on this, I will continue to be a brony till the day I die. I will have something to tell when I'm old and have grand children of the past.

Without MLP I would probably have fallen victim to deep depression, madness and my hatred for humanity. I owe it the person I am today.
You met Tara Strong? That is so awesome.:omg:

Ponies have gained me ridicule, and teasing from my peers. Moreso than that, it has brought me friends, fun, camaraderie, and things to collect. :3

I'm really glad the pony community has helped pulled so many people together into such a tight knit group.

I've said it before in a previous topic, but no. MLP has done little to effect my life. I just see it as a show. If anything, it's almost screwed me out of being an uncle.

It added a lot of things, both good & bad. The bad is that I see that I am not accepted for what I am, and it also taught me that even for people in the same situation, they can hate you just as much.

The good is that I am more open to myself, I learn that I can enjoy things regardless if it's meant for me or not. It brought me smiles and laughs, gave me array of characters to love, and it also taught me to appreciate horses. Cause of MLP, horses are my favorite animals.

I am also more aware of my mortality, and that I need to enjoy the aesthetics in life, since I have not much time left in this life. I love the fandom more than the show, and it brought a lot of joy. I also like all the MLP material I buy.

glad to see that others still love the fandom. i was begining to think everyone claiming to like mlp was like the jerks over at 4chan. im glad i was wrong and that some of us still are into the love and tolerance thing
