Midland and Odessa are the 'Afganistand of Texas' for a reason. Nothing but flat, brown land. Odessa is worse about it than Midland though. and D/FW(metroplex I live in) is the main heart of north central Texas (the non-panhandle north of Texas). It's fine as long as you know the right places (Original Six Flags and the Hurricane Harbor just don't entertain for long)
Isn't Afghanistan mountainous? I'd been out to Dallas once or twice but it was only to see family. Which is to say, I did nothing while I was there. I hear Austin is a nice place though. I might get the chance to move there sometime, if not only as a stepping stone to the west coast.
The name of this thread changed again how many times is it going to do that this week this is already like the third or fourth time this week alone?
*Sees thread title* Well guys, I've had some good times on this site, but it's time for me to go. I'm joking
I did. When we first met. I wasn't aware your name was supposed to be split at the i-o. So I called you Yamio. XD
