I saw that picture. It was awesome. I think that'd be the perfect shirt for someone working hard since Applejack's a hard worker and all. She'd be so proud of you. Heh.
Your bro is cool. /brohoof. I have that same shirt Vinyl Scratch shirt without the subtexts. :derpe: I saw it too, looks good on you :derpe:
i know, she never turns down a hard worker, i love that shirt it realy makes me cheer up during the long day of work ^_^
Well, I got a reaction from my shirt today, oddly enough the first reaction came from a teacher. A negative reaction sadly. (Well, sort of anyways) Basically my teacher saw my shirt and wanted to know what it meant... I said it would take too much explaining, so they just said they're going to find out on Google... They spent a whole 10 minutes of class attempting to figure out what RBD stood for. They found something about bananas, then found THE EXACT PAGE I GOT MY SHIRT ON..., then figured out it meant Rainbow Dash (somehow). I didn't look at what they were doing for a while, but I did see my teacher on EquestriaDaily. I thought that was funny.:derpe: Anyways, once they figured out what it was they said that they were slightly disturbed by it. D:
Lol, normally when you just search RBD itself you get an artist group. Heh, today I wore my Vinyl Scratch shirt just like in the "Your Face!" thread to my class and no reaction. Not to mention I had a thin jacket just for the style. You could still see Vinyl Scratch. Anyways I don't think people really cared about the shirt, unless it was maybe a Rainbow Dash/Derpy Shirt then again... Also when I picked up my sister today, we went to a fast food place to buy her some food, and we met one of her friends that saw my shirt and was a brony too. /brohoof'd him, then after we ordered our food to go. His father asked us what the pony/thing on my shirt was. The friend of my sister said. "Oh!, it's Rainbow Dash when she was a Rockstar (or some other thing that I didn't remember...)" It made my sister and I "lol". Anyways she's going to tell him who Vinyl Scratch really is. Also, my sister is cool when it comes to MLP, she likes Octavia but she isn't a brony like me. We occasionally play around and RP/talk in character of me as Rainbow Dash/Vinyl Scratch and her as Octavia. Anyways I'm going to wear my "Brony Rainbow Dash" Shirt tomorrow, and see how far that gets me from 8AM-12:45PM. It's cold in the classes so I wear a jacket as well. Everything goes well with a jacket. :derpe:
Wait, do you mean RP/talk in character in real life? Because that sound interesting just to see how that would work out...
Sorry to hear about that reaction. I'm still thinking of getting the RBD shirt myself. I figured if someone asked me about it, I'd say something similar to what you said. Maybe that's not a good idea with the easy access to Google via their cellphones and all the computers in the labs. I may make my decision this weekend. At the moment, I'm still leaning toward yes. I'm jelly. I hope I meet an IRL brony if I get the RBD shirt. I look forward to reading about it.
Well I did meet bronies @ my first meetup before the shirts, and I'm not actually sure if my sister friend knows any of the background characters. :derpe:
*Double Post/Bump* No actual reactions, besides some indifferent stares possibly on my Brony RD shirt. (Jacket zipper got stuck with my shirt for a small second, and I'm going to wash the small stain right now. It kinda blends in with the shirt color but at least the zipper didn't ruin my shirt.) I wonder what will happen when I actually wear Rainbow Dash 20% Cooler shirt tomorrow. :derpe: 2:45 hour class...hurray.
I don't have a brony shirt
@Double Rainbow "Dash", Well, no reactions are better than negative reactions, at least. Once again, thank you for your feedback, and I look forward to reading about tomorrow. Wait... tomorrow? You have a class on Saturday?! @Rarit E, Nah, you're not pathetic. A brony's awesomeness isn't measured by the amount of merchandise he/she owns (Sorry, DRD, but it's true! You're awesome for other reasons though). I don't own one... yet. Still thinkin' about it. Gee, based on how long I keep thinking about it, you'd think it was a life-changing decision or something.
Eeyup, 10AM - 12:45PM Humanities. :derpe: Might as well show off some ponies in what I wear. Want to loan me $2,000+ for this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/110740955959
@Double Rainbow "Dash", Wow, sorry to hear that. I'd hate to have any class on a Saturday. $2,000, huh? Yeah, sure, I'll get right on that! Oatmeal DRD, are you crazy?! I saw you post that in the General Chat Thread. That reminds me of two videos I found on YouTube: I'm putting them in spoiler tags in case some people have something against these videos for some reason. Notice all the dislikes on YouTube. Even though it's not my thing, I thought these costumes were cool. It must have taken some serious effort and money to make those. Spoiler: Video 1 Spoiler: Video 2 @pixel hope, That's great! I look forward to your feedback.
So the Trixie shirt has magic powers I guess. The general public didn't care. Co workers were a indifferent or liked it.. The first guy asked me questions all night about the show, I was more then happy to answer all of them. He said he'd check out the show. My other co-workers have shown more interest in the show. Two more said they would watch it, 3 said maybe. A guy from a different shift walked by and said nice shirt. The /b/tard that I work with also said nothing, he didn't mention it at all. I guess Trixie is magic.
My boss, one of the kindest people I know, gave me a really weird - almost untrustworthy - look and told me never to bring it up again and that I shouldn't tell people I like MLP when I mentioned it to him after hours one day when we were hanging out. Might be the only time in my relationship with my boss that I ever thought he questioned my character and integrity. Never mind that. My boss watches Covert Affairs which might be the stupidest show of all time so I don't know where he gets off.
