Somepony suggested that I should dye my hair rainbow and I said "If I get 10 people to say yes on my poll I will do it." 2 Mins later I had 13 ponies who said yes. I am going to do it, I am going to mimic Dash's hair. So Red, Orange, and Yellow on top and Green Blue (Turquoise?) and Purple for the back. I have never dyed my hair before so I am going to need some help like what I need what condition my hair should be (IE Freshly washed and damp or dry and everything in between,) and where I can buy these colors in a store. I will be going to school and walking around in public with this hair color and wearing a RBD shirt so Brony's wont just think I have rainbow hair for no reason. I will also be posting pictures on Everypony, Ponychan, and etc. Any help will be appreciated THUNDER!!~
You will have balls of steel of you do this, no, Balls of Darkmatter. You gotta tell us how it goes. Do people know you are a brony?
I wouldn't do is partially because I would be scared to, but also I have always been against artificially changing your appearance. I am against piercings and tatoos. But Hair color isn't permanent so that's quite so bad. My favourtie pony is Fluttershy, so would I go for pale pink, that would be scary to walk around in. My classmates know I'm a Brony but they don't know I take it as far as to go on forums and write a blog and that I would get pony toys if I could afford them. All the best and make those..... wait a minute what do we call non-bronies, is there a special word for it? Anyway make those non-bronies TASTE THE RAINBOW! !@$#%@#$%
well, Pinkie pie or Rainbow dash, they'd make me stick out like a girl dancing on a table blindfolded
I would suggest you get it professionally done. When I tried dying my hair brown (my blond hair irritated me very much), it turned a bright red, and then I had to dye it pretty much black. :S Though, you're basically trying to dye your hair in several random vibrant colors, so hopefully it will work better for you. However, with my limited knowledge of hair, if you have dark hair, then dying your hair won't work too well. Hair dyes don't cover over the hair, but add their pigment to what you already have. Or something like that... I'm not a hair expert. Part of that was derived from something a hair stylist told me. But yeah, good luck, you probably wanna go to get it professionally done if you can, and I can't wait to see those pictures.
I usually call them haters :Trollestia: Btw, it's thanks to me Thunder_Wave decided to go Rainbow Dash on us :derpe:
I love my hair too much to dye it. D: I'll stick with a t-shirt in my case, but I commend you for doing this. Just find some hair dyeing guides online, or RTFM when you buy the boxes. I'm pretty sure there's not much to it these days.
Well my gf died her hair a lighter blond and put black streaks in it. from what she was telling me it is quite the procedure. Im guessing the easiest way to do this would be to bleach your hair a light color. then section it off as best you can.. try not to mix the colors up too much lol. Worse case it ends up bad. just shave it off!
You sir have become my new hero, I've always wanted to do this but my job won't allow me to. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Just remember Haters gonna hate.
Just to make sure, this will make you 20000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% cooler
I'd do it, but I don't have much hair to dye! My wife, Winter Lotus, is a beautician, so she can help you. Right now, she's telling me you're going to have to bleach the heck out of your hair, which is going to leave it fried. No way to avoid hair damage, I'm afraid. The good news is, it does grow back. The back news is, it won't grow back in rainbow colors.
Yeah, I could probably come up with some sort of "Touch up" thing, like just dabbing some color on the roots.
Oh my. Usually people with rainbow hair have bad results with it. :T then again I'm very negative on hair colour changing.
