By the way I know I said this before but even though the official name of the fandom is the Petter fandom I prefer to call myself a Petshopper sounds alot better and has a ring to it don't you think?
I'm glad you agree with me my friend I wonder why people didn't just choose that name for the fandom in the first place though?
I wonder if the female fans will ever get there own gender specific term maybe something along the lines of Pet Shop Girls, also I think a high five for LPS fans should be called a bropaw.
Come on people let's talk more about what I think should be renamed the Petshopper Fandom even though I know it won't be.
Sorry dude, but I think most people here just aren't too interested in LPS. Surely there are other forums dedicated to this fandom? Anyhoo, please stop bumping this unless other people want to contribute to this topic too. :3
I've given it a try, but to be honest, I kind of resent it. I think that it's just a show trying to copy MLP, and get the same popularity. That being said, who am I to judge? I watch a show about magical talking ponies. You are allowed to watch what you want.
I think it's kind of funny that you posted the same thing on both this thread and the new one I just made a few minutes ago LOL. http://www.everypony.com/forums/sho...y-and-Petters-Petshoppers&p=400491#post400491
If the LPS fans are going to be called petters... Are the rapid fans heavy petters? Rapid petting sound dangerous, too.
You know i'm curious if there is such as thing out there as Anti Petters and also why female Petters don't have their own gender specific term you know like Pegasister except have it have something to do with LPS?
Because that would be dumb. The word 'brony' is somewhat gender specific, as it is derived from the word bro. Hence why some people feel the need for a female counterpart, 'pegasister'. Petter is completely gender-neutral, so there is no need for a term that specifically states that a fan is a lady. Because, you know, men are not the default, and women are not the derivation of the default. Then again, this is coming from a person who dislikes the term 'brony' to begin with, so yeah...
And I can assure you, there are "anti-petters". Pretty much for the same reasons there are anti-bronies.
Oh ok I just didn't know because i've never seen any online on a Youtube video or heard about that before.
